Really nice spacious modern pub. Great menu. Thursday night steak night with 30% off steaks and grills. Service is good and staff are friendly. Lots of seating indoors and outside, bar and restaurant. Lots of nice little touches like blankets for outside if it's a bit chilly. Large carpark.

We didn't know what to expect, when the place changed hands and got a new name we thought we'd check it out. We were pleasantly surprised. The service was great, the food was perfectly cooked and I had the best steak & Ale Pie in as long as I can remember. It took a little while to arrive, but we were in no rush and clearly the chef and his team wanted to make the perfect meal, well worth the wait.

popped in for lunch with a couple of my friends for a catch up. the restaurant wasn’t busy to the point of it being too loud but there were a decent amount of tables! service was fast and we were checked up on every once in a while which made us feel looked after. food was good and the lunch menu we felt was a good deal. would definitely come back!

When arriving a staff member was near to greet up on the stand, lovely to be asked where we would like to sit.
We sat in the conservatory which was lovely.
Staff gave us good time to to view the menu but asked what we would like to drink after a few minutes, then once the drinks arrived asked If we were ready to order food.
Food came out all lovely and hot and we were asked if we would like any more drinks and sauces.
Checked in to see how our meal was which was absolutely wonderful.
Checked if we wanted the heaters on as the temperature had changed.
Overall experience was brilliant and service was spot on and the food was perfect.
We have already been speaking of when we can next plan to visit next.

We had a very good time with you. We were greeted and taken to our table effortlessly. Our waitress was friendly, very patient and most efficient. Payment was made discreetly and with a smile. We enjoyed the experience and even benefited from the late summer discount.

Staff really friendly, and the place looked lovely. Music playing but not too obtrusive. Good varied menu although some items were unavailable (which is why I have not given 5 stars). I had the steak and ale pie which was very tasty. Everyone else in the group also enjoyed their meals. Service wasn't quick but acceptable. No sauces were offered, but to be honest, the food was nice enough without.

Always driven past but never been in. Went in and pleasantly surprised. Good menu choices, friendly staff and decent portions.
The only down side, we waited a wee while for drinks, but then very attentive.

Between us we had pizza, the burger and steak. The sirloin was amazing but small, burger looked great my friend said it was well worth the price and the margarita pizza was bland. But the pepperoni pizza was good just had a bit too much pepper.
The atmosphere was great and the overall outside and inside so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.

We.booked a table in the bar area, service was efficient and there were no errors, for a busy period it felt like there weren’t quite enough staff on, but that’s not a criticism, I know it’s difficult to plan for the peaks & troughs of customers, and it didn’t affect the enjoyment of our meal.
The food, was good, tasty and arrived swiftly from the slightly overworked kitchen and it was arrived piping hot and it was cooked very professionally.

We found the food very good and service also good and friendly. We had a bit of a wait at the beginning, but the restaurant was busy.
The only thing we didn't like was the level of noise. It was a Sunday and so there were young children, but it might be nice to be offered a more quiet spot for the more mature guests who are hard of hearing. Liked the abundance of bench seating.

Very accommodating for my daughters 10th birthday - service was brilliant food in the whole was great - only slight critique was regarding the chicken on the children’s menu (think it was the chicken strips / tenders) the girls that ordered them said they were a bit spicy and couldn’t eat them all, might be an idea just to perhaps mention this on the menu. However, overall great experience good value for money and dealt very well with 8 10 year old girls so thank you very much 😊

The staff were very welcoming.Whilst the menu was varied it was disappointing that the available fish options was limited to just fish and chips. The sea bass wasn't available. Equally one of the guests was diabetic so none of the desserts was appropriate. Having said that the waitress did offer fresh fruit (oranges and strawberries) which was a nice touch.
