The King James - Cheshunt - Photo album

Possibly one of Spoons least interesting buildings but I was impressed by the attentive and friendly staff.
Fairly typical Wetherspoons. Well maintained but the lowish ceiling makes the pub look a bit dim and at times a bit seedy. The staff are pleasant and helpful and the large range of proper beers well kept. Beer prices very reasonable, at the sort of prices you pay up north. Food is very cheap. Curry
Came in with my disabled father, staff was amazing, we had table service from Jennifer I believe her name was and she was very friendly and attentive. Hot food and nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.
Went here yesterday for a birthday lunch and had 5 noisy kids with us but staff made us welcome. Food came out quick and it was ok. Would like to say a big thank you to Tyler the waiter for his brilliant service we had a great time.
I have had breakfast here on a Sunday morning whilst heading home from a night away from home several times. As you would expect, the food is always hearty and the quality is spot on. I do find it odd that most of the other customers there are already on the beer (or wine) by 9.00 am but hey, this i
Lovely place for a spot of light lunch. Service was prompt and food was delicious. Only 4 stars due to a pair of drunk fellas whose departure delighted everyone in the pub, thus improving the atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon.

Went in for a quick drink as I had clients to meet that same evening. Very friendly kind staff quick to fill my drink and helped decide what to drink. After i advised the kind young lady Mrs Freeth you know who you are when explained I was driving she recommended half a pint which i opted for bud li
Very crowded on a Saturday night but we were served within 20 minutes. One of our party did not have her first choice available. Food was tasty when it did arrive.
Seems to be popular with locals. Amazing chips, friendly service - absolute bargain prices and a nicely lit interior. Looks a bit dark from outside but is actually spacious and pleasant inside.
A Wetherspoon pub like many others. But nobody goes to a Wetherspoon for the authenticity. It's the food amd the large variety of drinks really. Which is fine as in many other pubs that I've been to. At busy times there might be harder to find a parking spot on the street.
Would have liked a little more seer on my steak (so ask for that ) as it wasn't really brown .but it was still a good steak ...good amount of nice crispy press and beautifully fried tomatoes and mushrooms ...fries where crispy and not soggy ( hate soggy chips/fries) Very cozy atmosphere in this wha
