Five of us and two dogs discovered this lovely place for lunch today. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was superb (omelettes/burger/toastie) and very hot. The home made berry cheesecake was the best I've ever tasted! Well done to all involved. If we're ever in Chester again we'll definitely be back!

Although they donโ€™t advertise it on the menu they do a lovely afternoon tea here. You can choose one of the lovely sandwiches, a big slice of cake and fresh warm delicious scones. My friend from Brazil never had a a scone before and after trying theirs she was looking for recipes everywhere so she could try to make them at home!

Very good cafe indeed. We had cake and a pot of tea but we were tempted to order lunch as it all looked fantastic. I guess that means we will have to go back! Nice little outside seating area is a plus.

Came for cake and tea. Beautiful choice of delicious cakes and drinks, even summer cocktails. The place is spotless, airy ( cosy in winter) , and service is perfect. If you are in Chester and looking for a stop off for refreshments or breakfast/brunch/ lunch this place is a must !!!

Had a very good breakfast here, sausages some of the best Iโ€™ve had. All ingredients felt quality. My breakfast was 10.95 I believe which came with toast orange juice and coffee so not the cheapest but was worth it. Excellent service on a busy Saturday morning, top place.

Went to Chester yesterday with my flatmate and we were thinking of having breakfast, the idea in the beginning was to pick up a coffee with something like a brekkie from the Maccies, but I said NO not this time. Let's find a local place and support a small business rather than a giant. We went online and this place was the first on the list, we were a few mins away from it, we read the reviews and check all the photos, everything looked tempting. We found it and we looked from outside and it was a bit empty just a few customers in, we got in a wonderful girl received us with a warm welcome and invited us to go to the courtyard, that area was gorgeous and there more friendly members of staff. We got a table next to an unusual but very creative design to have your plants, you will see the picture. Anyway to the mission, A PERFECT 5 ๐ŸŒŸ BREAKFAST: Eggs cook to perfection and tasty. Best homemade sausages I have tried for ages. The bacon was absolutely gorgeous Mushrooms delicious The tomatoes were juicy and tasty Toasts excellent quality. Coffee very hot and lovely taste. Orange juice fresh and cool And the big jug of cold water was the icing on the cake for me. As soon as we started the whole place was fully booked with lots of locals ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ I would not expected less than that for a wonderful place. I highly recommend this place if you want to have a 5 ๐ŸŒŸ for everything: service, quality, food, customer experience, clean. Hands down to all of you involved ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ

The last breakfast in Chester before heading home and once again NOT disappointed with finding another little gem of a place. Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Fresh and hot. The sausages are local and were delicious. My partner opted for the mixed berries on toast (I think it was blueberries & strawberries) and throughly enjoyed hers. If I stayed here for another week. You would have had to role me to the train station. If you are looking to start the day off with a cup of tea/coffee and a good breakfast ๐Ÿณ. Try this out. Well worth it. Very clean and the staff were really friendly, chatty and most accommodating.

Very cozy coffee house, but its popularity means it is often busy that there is a wait of 20 min. or more . It is on street level making it wheelie friendly. There is outside sitting, good for nice weather only. Helpful staff.
