My wife and I came here for a Virgin wine tasting experience ( an xmas gift from our daughter) OMG, everything about it was 1st class, the food platter was extremely pleasant as for the wine selection, each wine was given with a discrimination of origin and which food it paired with, it was very informative & better than expected, obviously my wife differed on choice but that's down to personal taste. When back in Chester I would definitely bring my wife here for lunch again

We had the shared Quattro Rossi- 4 different taster wines and Italian meats, olives, bread etc to combine. These were really good and tasty. Look forward to returning and having a main meal.
We were given a voucher for afternoon tea and opted to use it at Veeno for our anniversary. The afternoon tea for two was a fun alternative to traditional afternoon teas and was delicious! The staff were great, in particular Josh who made sure we had everything we needed and took us through the whole experience. We can't wait for our next experience at Veeno.

Went to veenos for a treat, we've been before and wasn't disappointed just like last time. Food was amazing, staff were great. Well worth a visit, will definitely be going back.
Not cheap for wine pours BUT had a lovely Falanghina glass. Lovely interior and best of all, friendly and accommodating staff that was very willing to explain the wine options and allowed numerous tastes. Plus dog-friendly!! Great to pop into post cathedral. We didn’t eat but there’s an array of Italian food options and nibbles.
Fabulous ‘Taste of Sicily’ wine tasting experience at the Chester Veeno. Food and wine were both superb and service by Josh was faultless. Desserts were phenomenal. Very much recommend!
Went for afternoon tea so different from the usual afternoon tea and in a lovely relaxed atmosphere the food was excellent
We were served by Ellie for the trip to Sicily experience. It was a brilliant experience lasting over two hours where Ellie explained the origins of the wines and why they’d been paired with each of the foods. There was no pressure to purchase the wines at the end (although very tempted). Will definitely go back again for some of the other wine experiences or the bottomless pizza!
Memorable Saturday night at Veeno Chester. Great food and wine but what made the evening really special was Ellie. Fantastic service - super friendly without being intrusive. Thank you, we’ll be back soon.
