The Ship Inn - Chester - Photo album

Tried to book on the off chance on a Sunday lunchtime. They were really accommodating and honest, about the availability, and got us in. Service was rapid. Food was solidly good. Sunday lunch was generous and the steak pie was generous. Plus it's dog friendly. Clearly a popular weekend lunch spot
The girls took me there for my birthday a few days ago and we really had an amazing Sunday roast with celebrations and a view to die for!!! Surrounded by the park and overlooking the river, the vibe was so serene and quite a scenic place to spend my thirtieth birthday at. The hosts were extremely ni
A really convenient place for my 92 year old friend to meet her other two friends. The young staff were attentive, polite, courteous and friendly. Thank you very much. Would recommend although the food is a bit on the pricey side for what it is, hence loosing a star.
Really nice place, we are far from local but booked this in advance as we were staying in Chester. Its dog friendly, has a lovely atmosphere, very knowledgeable staff and most importantly very nice food. 6 of us all ordered different meals and they were all very good, i had a 10oz rump which ended u

Great food, Great Beer & Friendly Service 👍🏻 Only a very small criticism, about the Turkey, Stuffing Ciabatta, it would be great to have small pot of “dipping gravy” on the side ??
Been here a few times since it opened. Usually make the trek down Bridge St and just over the river. Cafe bar vibe. Ic had a pint of Weetwood golden. Two Thwaits beers as well. Couple of tv's. Flic had wine. Will be back.
Lovely dog friendly pub. Food was very good and not too expensive. Staff were friendly and attentive to us as diners and our 🐕
