Our family stopped here for lunch and it was amazing. Everything on the menu looked good and it was tough to choose. The drinks were very unique and several times throughout the meal, the waiter would randomly entertain us with a "trick" usually a drink with dry ice or similar. The restaurant itself has great art on all of the walls and incorporated into all of the menus. We had a great time and I'd highly recommend to others, especially groups.
Love this place! Little bit different although a little expensive when drinking, highly recommend 'the colour changing one' cocktail. Lovely food and very friendly staff who helped my mum choose the right cocktail. We will definitely be back 😁
Popped in for Sunday breakfast/brunch and was impressed.
£11 for the full English breakfast and all items were top quality, the poached eggs were very tasty & cooked well.
The tea was funky with the addition of dry ice to it and quite novel.
Very opulent inside like other Alchemist venues and reckon it’s packed for cocktails of an evening.
Nice surprise when the bill came and it was 50% off for January - which I’d had the Steak & Eggs now!

Went to The Alchemist in Chester for out evening meal. Fantastic food, cocktails and staff. Couldn't fault them they were all amazing and very accomodating of us as we had a pushchair with us. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to visit whilst in Chester

Place is amazing! Food was delicious, & I had a cocktail called Bubble bath, oh very impressive.
Loved the food and all the cocktails here. Absolutely fascinating what they do with the cocktails and really involve you in the experience. Staff were also really helpful and friendly, we had an offer for a free meal and they took the most expensive one off the bill which never happens.
Superb cocktails. Incredibly large and varied list of cocktails, each more delicious than the last. Good value for such well made drinks.
Awesome cocktail bar, with highly trained staff who are happy to put on a show, with lots of flame, dry ice and smoke! I highly recommend the Key Lime Pie cocktail, as seen in the photo. Cool music too!
