Right...full disclosure I'm not a foodie so while I can't comment in a matter that's relevant, in what regards food...I had a meal which was delicious, served with a smile and nothing seemed to be too much bother for them. It is a family owned business for the past 60 years...it is a piece of Chesters history

Hot food delivered bang on time. So much choice on the menu. Large portions. Standard of food and ingredients is a cut above any other Chinese takeaway we"ve ordered at home.

1st time visiting the slow boat and loved it. 7 adults 3 kids. The food was just amazing.

Lovely food we had the eat as much as you like a little expensive but it is Chester,drinks were reasonable fantastic night well worth it.

Lovely staff very polite. You have a choice of A la carte menu or the 2full belly banquet. We had the banquet wow amazing choice of soups, then starters need to pick 6 starters, then crispy duck and pancakes, choice of main courses also choice of boiled rice, noodles, fried rice the dessert of ice cream on its own, or with banana fritters or lychee. We had lager with our meal so it cost £63 for 2 meals and 2 pint of lager. The banquet was £26.50 per person.

Excellent food and service, was recommended by a taxi driver, and was not disappointed the best salt and pepper ribs and sweet and sour King prawn. The batter for the sweet and sour prawn was tempura and thin but crunchy, amazing, service was prompt, helpful, and friendly, overall we were not disappointed and reasonable prices. Caution access is via stairs

All you can eat on sunday is brill.
As its not a buffet style either the quality is incredible. Hot and enjoyable.
Staff were ok but seemed very rushed (it was busy to be fair)
No delay on food either!
2 bottles of wine, hiwever wine xhiller was not cold, still didnt affect our enjoyment
Would recvomend and definately visit again
