Great bar for live music - from what I seen there different bands play there ! We stumbled upon this place while walking at the city walls !

The Live Music nights and security are very good, even though the stage/front area is a bit small. The toilets have been the same for years and could do with a spruce up. Had a weekend away in Chester & booked a night at Alexander’s Live as it was comedy night. Wow, absolutely fantastic night. There were 3 different stand ups & all were amazing. I’d recommend this place for a really good evening out.

attended a wedding hosted there and the location was beautiful. space outdoors. lots of places to avoid rain or just get some shade from the sun. the toilets were decently small but clean.
