The Dublin Packet - Chester - Photo album

Pub is a little rough round the edges, but is getting better than before, good choice of drinks.
A warm welcoming traditional pub, good prices karaoke and shows football fans what else would you want. lovely staff, stu is helpful with any needs and the bar staff are always having a laugh with you
Great fun - barman Harry - top bloke 👏. Let us do Karaoke 🎤 on an otherwise quiet night as we had friends over from South Wales. Turned into a proper night to remember. Harry even belted out a few tunes himself.
A decent pub, reasonably priced for the city of Chester. Has a small seating area outside on the pavement if the weather allows. Apparently they do food but that wasn't what we were there for. It's quite small inside and was quite lively as the races were on. We went in everyday we were in Chester
Stu behind the bar was a true Gent and excelled himself re: customer service, he exchanged a cup of tea (milk was off) for a Tia Maria & coke (for my missus) with no fuss, just apologies, which was very nice 😊 P.S. great entertainment from the old guy attempting a Whitney Houston classic 🙉
Had a few drinks here during our Chester stay. Lovely lady behind the bar, value for money Madri. 💰 Lovely place.
Nice little pub friendly staff would recommend food and drink will be visiting again
This pub is a fantastic pub for all family and friends also food is amazing all the staff and the owner stu it has a fantastic hospitality every thing you need is no worries just ask and there happy to help
Busy, popular dog friendly pub on the market square, close to both the Town Hall and the Cathedral, which are both moments away. Smothered with sports television screens, if that's your thing. Loads of chicken and more chicken on the menu, but not very much choice for vegetarians. A convivial place.
Lovely old Chester pub. A real institution. Good selection of beers and excellent service Perfectly situated in the centre of town
Great location close to all other bars and restaurants ( so can walk short distance to other bars) & nice place to stop at during shopping etc on that side of town.
We stayed in chester for two night break and luckily discovered this place the first night, loved it as it was away from the really busy areas. Sat outside during the recent heatwave and met lots of other tourists ! Lovely staff and the beer was great. Going back to chester next week and we will def
