This is a friendly local pub. I visited s few days before Christmas and loved the atmosphere. It's a bit old fashioned but I like that, it's got character! Staff very busy but friendly. I had a glass of mulled wine and enjoyed the open fire. Didn't notice the toilets.... They can't have been that b

Visited under previous management..but really enjoying the much improved and generous menu, the plate is good tasty well seasoned..and exceptional value..the staff work hard and friendly..even providing a sticky toffee pud last minute Sunday...beers good and reasonable too.

Recently refurbished this is a dog and family friendly country pub offering good food and drink.offerings. friendly staff and a good range menu complete the formula. It's busy in the evenings so book if you want a table. I'm glad it's close to where I live

The pub recently came into new ownership and it's absolutely fantastic, lovely fresh food (no microwave rubbish or pre made meals ordered in), large variety of food and drinks, excellent value for money, this pub is suitable for anyone of any age. I'd highly reccomened a visit!
