I was on route to work when my car broke down. Fortunately it broke down next to the pub! The regulars helped to push my car to a safe place so as not to cause an obstruction in the road. The bar-lady got me a coffee and was most friendly. Everyone in the pub where really friendly. I would definitel
Typical British locals pub. Not many pubs cheaper than spoons these days but this is. Good location and frequented by locals.
Really enjoyed the Stanley Arms yesterday. Good price drinks, full of characters. Very helpful landlord Mike and chirpy front of house Sue xx. Will visit again soon. Keep up the good work folks.

Great pub with good value drinks and always a warm welcome. This pub changed hands a few months ago and is really back to its best run by a lovely couple. The place is busy with karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays
Great pub ,Finally we have got it back ! With new landlords Tom and Cheri at the helm, All drinks are well kept and well priced. Rif raf not tolerated, Starting food very soon.

The Stanley arms in Chester is now under new management as of 29/03/2018 there is live sports daily. Beer at great prices and food and live entertainment to follow shortly. The pub has also had a slight change in decide so I have posted the most recent ones on here to have a look through.
