This is one of the main reasons we moved to Aldford! We’re so lucky to have Lily’s cafe and the village shop right on our doorstep…
All the food is excellent quality and all home made. Cakes, coffee and the most delicious sandwiches, or why not share a charcuterie board and bottle of fizz with a friend?! 🥂
Outside courtyard for cyclists and walkers or sit in one of the comfy armchairs people watching…
Can’t recommend this cafe enough - even if we didn’t live here we’d definitely visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friendly, family-run business with attractive seating options both indoors and outside in a courtyard. Good coffee and home-cooked cakes. (Opening times in Google are probably the associated village shop’s opening times rather than the café. Might be worth updating those.)

Great place to stop off after a walk, well behaved dogs allowed. They have a very popular take away sandwich service...they look tasty..yet to try.

Really great service! The coffee was certainly above average and there’s a lovely courtyard to sit in for cyclists. I’d recommend visiting the village shop there too - looks like it was full of nice local produce.

Cakes are amazing and home made! Great selection of drinks etc. Village shop sells some fabulous olive oils, cheeses etc. Definitely will return!
