Lovely place where you're always made to feel welcome whether you're attending a workshop, buying a plant or stopping for a coffee and to do some work. Hannah is always happy to advise on plant care and has a fantastic selection of professionals providing regular craft workshops (I had a brilliant time at the macrame workshop last year). Parking available in the adjacent pay and display, or get the bus (it's within easy walking distance to the bus interchange).

Fantastic shop. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Hannah has such amazing knowledge as well as being so friendly and approachable. So helpful and prompt when looking for a gift for someone else.

Really lovely place with a nice atmosphere, really nice coffee and delicious brownies. Always attentive and giving me great advice on how to keep the plants I buy in good health. My wife also loves the workshops they put on!

Lovely atmosphere at this cafe and art hub! Hannah the owner really knows her stuff about plants - I have had a few casualties in my plant collection and she kindly told me where I was going wrong without making me feel foolish. Walked away with two fabulous plants - one as a gift and one for myself. Great coffee too and some inspiring interior design. Lovely to have something different in Chester, a real honest and passionate feel about it. Will be back again!

Chester absolutely needed a place like this! While there are many places you can get interiors or plants or coffee, you get so much more than at The Green Rooms. You get a place which feels like a community and a space that was designed for people to feel like they could come to escape life’s stresses and just connect with other like minded people. It is full of atmosphere and so welcoming. The workshops they offer are brilliant and diverse and it really is about giving people somewhere they can go to relax and press the reset button and the activities are so good for the soul! The interiors, plants and coffee are fabulous but it really is so much more than that. Hannah the owner is wonderful and you can tell this space is so important to her in how she runs it and how she makes you feel when you go there.

I absolutely love the Green Rooms in Chester. A gorgeous place to sit and have a coffee surrounded by cool things you can buy plus loads of very unusual plants for sale too. The owner Hannah is really warm and can give lots of advice on plants. Best of all there are loads of creative classes to try here- I have done a few crochet, calligraphy, wreath making and I can’t wait to keep coming back for more! It’s a really arty community space and a great asset to the city!

Lovely shop with great space, plants and atmosphere. Took part in the christmas wreath workshop and was fun and festive with excellent guidance from Amy from Scarlett Lily Flowers. Lovely hot chocolate too! Cant wait to return for another craft class!

Love this place. Full of interesting home stuff that you can buy (including plants!) and clearly the interior design of the place is on-point. But it’s also a cafe, an arts and events space which is genius. So you get a kind of friendly melting pot atmosphere where all sorts of interesting people come in and interact - something you just don’t get in Costa! And there’s loads of craft classes you can do and I bought one as a gift. A hidden gem... well worth checking out.

The Green Rooms is a fantastic addition to Chester. Hannah has created an amazing space where you'll want to spend time, filled with plants and beautiful things you'll want in your home. Her wide range of workshops provides something for everyone and fills a much needed gap in Chester. Hannah really knows her stuff about your house plants and crochet - I can't recommend her enough as a wonderful teacher. Get yourselves to the Greens Rooms!

I attended a fantastic course learning how to make coil pots. I had so much fun because the instructor, Molly, was excellent and Hannah was so welcoming. I came away with a completed pot and with the confidence of knowing how to make them. I really enjoyed the friendly and relaxed ambience.
