We enjoyed a very pleasant brunch here a few weeks ago. The staff are really friendly, and the food quality is fantastic value for money, incredibly flavourful, and good portion sizes. This was our 2nd visit, and each time, the food has been top tier, so they have consistency in the bag.
Well worth taking the time to visit.
Really nice eatery, excellent service. Our server Olivia was both efficient and super helpful and friendly. Sorry I didn’t have any cash to leave a tip. We had breakfast here and I’d go so far as to say it’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Chester!! The ‘Butcher’s Breakfast’, delicious!! We will definitely be back!!
Ambience is amazing and the place is very spacious. Reservations might be needed for large groups or else you should be fine. Has a good selection of beers and the staff is super friendly. A few tables are located outside, given that the weather is good.
So, visiting Chester for a few days and needed a breakfast booster ready for my adventures of the day.
So after walking around an hour I decided to visit the little place called Cozy Club. Having a butchers breakfast with the promise of some treacle cured pork belly was inviting for me. It was like a cheeky come hither and see kinda thing.
Anywho after getting a nice plate of breakfast with the treacle pork belly, I was absolutely satisfied the price at first did concern me a little as is pricer than the other places I seen but sorry the pork belly and the general flavours of the usual meats were just tasty and flavoursome.
So if you're a visitor like me and in need of a breaky kick start for your day cosy clubs butchers breakfast is the way forward.
Beautifully decorated and unusual bar and restaurant hidden in the heart of chester. We were originally drawn in with the decor and swing music and decided to stop for cocktails. However, shortly after, we were so impressed with the service and drinks that we asked to be seated for food. The meals and service didn't disappoint either. The salmon teriyaki noodles and salmon fish cakes were both excellent and so flavoursome. I would thoroughly recommend the cosy club.
We only recently discovered this brilliant place. We had a special meal there after a civil partnership in the family, and were treated so well, with complimentary prosecco when we arrived. The decor is beautiful, William Morris inspired. Great view of the street below. Top marks for accessibility, with a lift up to the restaurant for those who can't manage the stairs, a nice accessible toilet. But best of all was the service. The staff are fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. Service was prompt but we never felt rushed. We were there from 11am until 5.30 pm. Who could ask for more?
Very busy and noisy. Inital service was quite quick food was delicious. Service after main course was poor. We waited a long time 30 minutes+ for someone to clear the table and we weren't offered a sweet - just asked if we wanted the bill! We waited 20 minutes and still no bill. We had to ask someone else for the bill as we had to be out to get our seats at a concert.
Visited with friends, the food was great quality and reasonable prices for an upmarket restaurant. Lovely service from an assistant who went expertly through the drinks menu, making recommendations to one of my friends on cocktails. Also expert advice about food choices, didn't feel rushed.
Excellent food and atmosphere everytime we go there. The staff is so super friendly, we feel like home!
There was only one incident last time, where we were waiting for an extra portion of fries, and we had to go remind another waiter, as ours finished his shift mid serving. He wasn't happy and a bit short with us, BUT this was just one incident. We all have weird days! We are 100% going back next time in Chester, as always!
Amazing for allergies and gluten-free options (I’m coeliac). So many great cocktails to choose from and nice ambience. The dessert was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Would come again!
Beautifully decorated and lovely furniture. We had a family Sunday lunch here and enjoyed the experience. Service was quick and efficient. Nothing special about the food. Would come here again with friends for the atmosphere.
Came here for a breakfast with family. Service was great. Really made the morning. Our server Chris really pushed the boat out.
Food was delicious. Great vegan options as well.
And to top it off, dog friendly (and that's an understatement!)
We came here mid week for lunch & it didn't disappoint. Great helpful, polite friendly service. Lovely decor & everything was clean & tidy. Our meals were all cooked to perfection & tasted fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble & we would definitely return.
Had dinner with co workers, was ok, would imagine it would be too loud when busy. Was there on a Tuesday night. Service great.
Great food, although by the look of the size of my meal compared to everyone else's, I think they served me the starter version not the main meal! The taste however was amazing (I had the lamb) and if I HAD had a starter as well, it would have been the perfect size. Music was too loud for comfortable talking, might be me getting old, but when I'm eating with friends, I like to talk as well and it was virtually impossible. It was a good soundtrack though.
Service was very good, except that original waitress left before taking my partner's gluten free order, and another waiter came over later to sort that... We were a bit bemused.
Overall, I'd definitely return, the food is definitely worth it.
Excellent rissoto ( vegetarian) however the whiskey sour did dissapoint. It was with a lot of ice and I believe made with artificial white egg. Other two coctails were decent ( victoria sponge and king ""something" ). Otherwise a nice place with
Exceptional service in a great venue with a fab atmosphere. Food was delicious!! Right next to Chester Cathedral and the story house theatre. Plenty of parking nearby.
Great service. Lovely food. Not much choice for drinks on the set menu, but other options were available and staff were really helpful.
