Had a great night here with friends, and it was also two for one pizza/pasta night, which was a bonus. We met at 7:00pm, and the place was buzzing, quite noisy and very busy. Despite this, staff were fairly quick to take our order, and bring our drinks. We had a seafood pasta & a four seasons pizza, then yummy profiteroles and classic tiramisu.The food came in good time, and was really good. A great experience and I'd recommend Giorgio's.

This was my first time visiting and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of gluten free options available. It's been a long time since I have been to a restaurant and been able to choose from almost the entire menu. The food was amazing and I didn't feel I was missing out by eating gluten free

We've been to Giorgio's a number of times now. Each time has been better than the last! The food is amazing, portions are generous and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Our last visit was a Sunday evening and was extremely busy, we had to wait 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated, but the staff were very apologetic about the wait. Short of actually kicking customers out they really couldn't do much. We still very much enjoyed our evening there and will definitely be back in the future.

Went as a group of 4, firstly the foods great, which is the main reason to go back, salmon is fantastic. The place is nice even if it lacks atmosphere, the staff are pretty ignorant and the 10% tip is included in the bill, found that out after I'd already left one, bit cheeky. I'd go more but there are better places to eat and enjoy

Food on the whole was delicious very disappointed in the biscotti which was stale and bland. The rest of the food was good. Service was poor waited nearly a about a hour for food which isn't the worst but even getting a drink was really difficult

Wasn't sure what to expect as it was my first visit. Upon opening the door I was surprised to see how cosy it was inside. Staff were welcoming, lights were low, spacious, place to hang coats, suitable for disabled, there's a bar with good selection of drinks. We were a large group, staff quickly served drinks and soon got our orders of pre or food out. Note if you are a large group it's always helpful to kitchen staff to pre order. Once you order my I strongly suggest that guests don't change their minds if you want things to flow smoothly. Our food was well presented, extremely tasty, generous portions, quality crockery, comfy chairs. I was not disappointed. I recommend you try! Looking foward to my next visit already 🥰

Me and my wife went here 6 weeks ago and went with my wifes granddaughter and her boyfriend on her 22nd birthday,it was our 1st time and it was lovely,the food service everything,yesterday was our 12th wedding anniversary so I booked it for us & guess what,it was great what a little gem this Italian restaurant is,I really do recommend anyone to go here it's as our granddaughter says 'the best'.

Love this restaurant and the food is always spot on it. The waiters are always lovely and on it. I'd only say we had to wait abit for the dessert menu and it was quite noisy.
Apart from that. I love coming here for birthdays and celebrations!!

A great Italian restaurant and the staff are really friendly too, try the calzone with the Bolognese sauce on the side cooked in a wood burning oven....👍🏽 and the sea food risotto to match.
A great selection on the menu and special board and wine list and Moretti too🍺 Well worth visiting.

First time visiting Giorgio's, all girls to celebrate two birthdays. The food was absolutely beautiful, I had sea bass which I have had many times and this was by far the best I have eaten. Shame the lady who took our orders had no manners and when I asked what potatoes where served with the fish she abruptly replied potatoes in a very non professional way. The service of the food was very good, however as we were celebrating two birthdays. We had bought two cakes and the staff very kindly or so we thought brought out the cakes with lit candles, we sang the obligatory happy birthday, only to be told we could not eat the cake! Eleven of us in total which the majority had starters and a main, and we could not eat the cake. Things then got even worse, we were told we could not pay for our food separately, you can not pay on card for anything under ten pounds,(drinks). Some of us only had card and not cash, this was explained to the lady with no manners who simply shrugged her shoulders. I asked to speak to the manager, the guy and lady with no manners chatted, she smirked and I got no reply or explanation. However there is a young girl who was very polite and tried to explain why we couldn't eat the cake, " you can't eat your own cake on a Sunday or Monday when the menu is half price and we can't separate the bill on the till" she did her best to explain. Well Giorgio's, my suggestion is you update your till or employ staff that can actually do math so they can total up in their heads like we had to, update your card machine so you can pay any amount on card like the majority of restaurants. Display a poster stating that cake cannot be eaten on half price nights ( even though I paid full price for my main meal, pitty I was to full because believe me I would have eaten the cake). Re-train some of your staff in customer service skills and manners. Disappointing end to what could have possibly been a five star review!!.

A party of 15 people came for a joint birthday meal tonight at 4:15pm. Our bill was £215 in total. Initially everything seemed to be good with starters/ service etc. We came for the half price pizza and pasta deal and the majority of us made the most of this deal. Everyone really enjoyed the food. However, I ordered the pasta with pancetta and mushroom and towards the last few mouthfuls I found a piece of plastic in the sauce. As this was towards the end of the meal I raised the issue with the waitress when she cleared the plates, which she replied: sorry, I’ll let the chef know. Nothing else was said to me about the plastic in my food. The bill came and nothing was knocked off and we were not offered a complimentary drink or dessert to apologise. Before we paid we raised this with the manager and all he wanted to do was argue. He was adamant that the waitress had been back over to apologise. Yet all other 14 guests never saw her return. We were informed that it was not the company’s policy to offer free items or discount which I find rather appalling as from working in the trade myself we always aim to keep customers happy so that they return. The manager came over to the table unnecessarily to argue his point again that we were apologised to by the waitress. We all thought this was quite rude in front of all other customers. When we bought up that we would be leaving a bad review his reply was: “Do it!” Now Giorgio’s have lost 15 customers who will not return again. Whereas if something had be done to resolve the issue there would have been a tip and return custom. Oh and don’t bother taking a cake if you are wanting to eat it there. They don’t let you, another £30 they could have had from us as we would have all ordered hot drinks.

Second time in a matter of a month, and to be honest the first time I would give 5* rating to a restaurant on the first visits I've ever done.
The owners hospitality is second to none, always makes you feel special and welcomed, food is authentic, to the Italian tradition, pizza like I've never found yet in England.
And to end with original, delicious and precious dessert (Tiramisù out of this world).
And all this in a busy but well managed atmosphere.
If you have never been it's a sin to not try it.
Didn't know that Chesterfield had such an high level Italian Restaurant. Ticked all boxes in every aspect.

Went for our anniversary meal last night with the inlaws and i had the best tasting gluten free pizza ever!! All the other meals were thoroughly enjoyed. Service was great and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be visiting again

Have visited Giorgios twice. This time being last night for my Mothers 80th Birthday. 27 of us our meals consisted of literally everything on the menu. The mussels could of been a main course there were so many. No complaints whatsoever... The food was lovely the service was Excellent. We all had an amazing night. I thought having to prebook would be a nightmare. But no even last minute orders were catered too and everything was served efficiently. Prices are decent too.
Cannot recommend Giorgios enough - everybody enjoyed and we will definitely be back again...

This was our first ever visit to the restaurant and all I can say is that we will definitely be making it a regular place to visit. Brilliant atmosphere friendly staff and the food was out of this world.
