Stayed from Friday to Monday morning!! Not disappointed at all..rooms comfortable clean and warm! All the staff friendly and polite nothing is too much trouble. Had evening meals here...WOW!! Popped in for lunch , and were not disappointed. The welcome was warm , and friendly .
A dog friendly Inn which is always a +plus.
The menu is varied , and opted for Steak & Ale pie , and a Beef stew .

The staff and chef could not have been friendlier. We had good old fashioned food and plenty of it plus the bonus of proper home cooked chips. You will not leave hungry. It has lovely views and plenty of seating. Also loads of space for kids to play. Great price too.
This was my best stay yet in the Chesterfield area! The chef created a brilliant dish based on Sea Bass which was cooked to perfection with delicious accompaniments. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, check in and out was a breeze, and the location was delightful. I can’t recommend the Peble
Came here for lunch & we are NOT leaving hungry!! Food was absolutely lovely, portion sizes are huge and will definitely be coming back. Staff were lovely and had a lovely view sitting outside. 10/10 would recommend.
Great pub in lovely setting. Team super friendly and made us feel so welcome. Food 10/10, portions massive and great quality.
Happy to accommodate any requests we had. Chef lovely and came out to tel us everything on the menu was available and the special of the day.

Extra large portions of delicious home cooked food! Scampi & chips were gorgeous. We were so full, we couldn't manage a dessert!

Our room was clean and smart but being alongside a busy road ☹️ with heavy traffic noise ......
When they fix the Chinese water torture in room 2 toilet I think guests will sleep better in the comfortable bed.
I would go back again.
What a lovely little place this is, really nice pub, very friendly staff, great service and the food was exceptional, full of flavour prepared and served beautifully and it tasted amazing.

Staying for a night while visiting friends. Spotless room, friendly service and a lovely meal! Dog friendly, with stunning views over the countryside. We were made to feel really welcome by staff and locals, the bar had a really good atmosphere. Highly recommended, and we'll be back for sure!
