Pleasant pub with a wide range of beers to choose from. The beer garden out the back is nice and has lots of space. The only downside is where the bar is, when it gets busy you struggle to get to it and go past the thronged masses queuing up for a pint.

Great little pub - ales always in perfect nick. Smart, traditional decor and a good atmosphere. Nice garden area too. Only loses a star as they could do with a few more guest beers.
Very friendly staff, great selection of beers including cask of the week (£2.60 a pint), lovely large beer garden at the rear including the covered "tram shed". Dog friendly inside and out (with dog treats behind the bar!
This is an excellent ale drinkers pub if you are visiting (like I was). Lots of different local beers to try. Lovely little beer garden and I felt very comfortable. Gent who served me knew his stuff and was very pleasant
