Usually have a cup of tea here. Order and they bring it to your table. Cool and airy in the Market Hall. Selection of pastries too. Recommend it

Small cafe with food at reasonable prices.
Food: 4.5/5 - The food was great as you might've gessed. Limited on the range of foods; (though was space that can't be helped); but plenty of drinks to choose from. ☕
Hospitality: 5/5 - service was great. They were caring and thoutfull to my needs; (checking if they had what I fancied); and there the bunch that love to see regulars.😄
Building: 5/5 - the cafe technically dosent have any walls cause its based in the centre of the market hall; (probably hence the name). 😅
Despite that. With the space that they have; they keep it modern and very well clean.

We've been twice since we can go out and about freely. The staff here are friendly and it's a lovely place to have a pits stop.

Very spacious with plenty of seating and lovely food. You can also take drinks away (especially hot 1s (in a takeaway cup)). Staff are friendly and helpful, who will help you out to the best of their knowledge too. Would recommend to give these guys and gals a visit

I had a meeting with the local council about starting a mental health awareness campaign in the centre. We discussed this in the cafe over a latte. Very comfortable and friendly environment with great prices

Great cafe. Good value. Helpful staff. Clean. They also do soya milk and decaf options. They make sandwiches to order with children options. Tables are not squashed in tightly so lower level is great for buggies etc.

No table menus, order at counter (awkward when on own if it's busy as couples get the tables), assistant was helpful, Coffee was fine, toastie tasted ok. Food and drink arrived at table hot, everything was clean which made it perfect for me. Went back to counter for cake which was massive and sensory overload!!

Hidden gem in the Market Hall. Clean and spacious restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food, reasonably priced and a lovely cuppa - courtesy of the Northern Tea Merchants - give it a try!
