Ma's Kitchen, let's start with the reviews. Almost all the bad ones are for a Chinese takeaway close by. This venue is a small cafe serving traditional English breakfast, rolls, and drinks. On this visit, I had "The Beast'" a large fresh roll filled with eggs, bacon, sausage, and beans. All came piping hot and very tasty. Cutlery was provided, and I needed it. The beast lived up to its name. Very filling. Standard Full English comes in 3 sizes depending on how hungry you feel. Various drinks are on offer, I opted for a machine made coffee, instant was also available if you prefer. Various flavours of ice cream are also available here, I can imagine it is very popular in the summer season. Staff were pleasant and polite and will engage in conversation. The venue is small but very nicely laid out, seating only available for 8 people. Nicely decorated inside with old style signage. Takeaway and delivery options are available. Within 3 minutes walking distance from the main town shopping, Aldi, Tesco, and Wilko superstores. Petrol station is close by as well, making this a great stop off during a hectic shopping trip. Food is tasty and delicious. But we found that our food was extremely hot in spice. Don't get me wrong I love hot spicy food but this meal was over spicy.

Sometimes rice isn't as rightly packed as normal. Also depending on who you talk to is whether you get free praw crackers or not

Best Chinese takeaway in the area (in my humble opinion). I drive from Whitwell to Clowne to get my food from Ma's Kitchen. I've never been disappointed.

Best Chinese in the area. My favorite are their salt and chilli wings. Never had a bad meal from here always arrives hot
