Classic Red Hot Albasha

We were on a trip to see family in the area and really wanted to go to Chicago for an Italian beef. That didn’t happen. But what happened was I found this place and was amazed. Italian beef was amazing same with the gyro. I cannot recommend this place more. You will not be disappointed. The staff, which I think were the owners, were so friendly and welcoming we felt like we had been there weekly for years. Can’t wait to get back to St. Louis to eat here again.

Whenever we are in the area I ask my boyfriend should we stop and get the Baba Ganoush from classic red hots and he looks at me like why am I even asking that question - it’s that good. So if you go here do not leave without the magical Baba Ganoush - it has the most captivating taste - almost like it is sparkling - beautiful layered flavors that you just can’t find anywhere else. Also love the falafel sandwich. The pickles are insanely good. This is one of those places I feel lucky to have found!

I ordered from clover app and it told me 20 min you can pick up. After 30 min I got there they told me “ sorry I didn’t check it so we didn’t know you ordered.” So I waited for another 7 min and went back. My order was really gross, the gyro sauce leaked everywhere, the meat smells and tastes funny, and my daughter found a hair in her sandwich. The bread was burned and did I mention the restaurant inside is really dirty and greasy.... won’t go back again and I hope our stomach is fine tonight although I didn’t eat much

The food was delicious, fresh and hot. There was a ten minute wait, but they let us know beforehand and went out of their way to make it an overall great experience. The service was great as one comes to expect at a mom and pop shop. The Baba Ganouch was AH-MAZING with the ***fresh baked*** Pita bread! The chicken kabob plate was delicious, and the burger my daughter ordered was the best tasting patty we have found in a local restaurant. The cherry on top? Halal!!!
