Sugarbush Tavern

Disappointed. I am, or should say was, obsessed with their cow town boneless wings. I placed an order over the phone for boneless cow town wings, and was given plain wings and a small container of cow town barbecue. This just screams laziness. For one I didn’t even have enough sauce to coat each wing which I ended up tossing myself at home, but also I have never received my wings with sauce on the side. On top of this, the last two times I have brought guests they have ordered a burger, and have had their food severely undercooked. This used to be a date night venue for me and my girlfriend, now it is a place she can not stand due to biting into a well done burger with raw meat. I don’t understand how so quickly this restaurant has gone downhill. What I do understand is that I will be looking for a new place for date nights.

I went to Sugarbush Tavern on 21 mile for the first time tonight and I absolutely loved it. The food was good but the waiter made the whole experience. His name was "Nick" and he was wonderful. He was so funny, kind and very personable. He talked like he had met us before. My mom, my sister and I went home saying that we wish we could be friends with him. Best waiter I have ever had.

Have never really had a bad experience at Sugarbush Tavern. I've been eating here off and on my entire military career which is almost 20 years. Although a few of the wait staff have changed over the years, some have not. They have been prompt and courteous and generally have a good disposition. We sat ourselves but the food came out as expected, timely and hot. Usually get the steak bites but this time opted for the Michigan Cherry Boneless wings. One of my favorites to eat here. Tables and seats were clean and drink orders were taken almost immediately. Definitely a place to visit.
