Panera Bread

I placed a curbside order. They were fast, polite and the food was fresh and delicious. I used the online app to order it, and it was perfect! Thank you! The flatbread pizza is yummy and the Mediterranean veggie sandwich was full of flavor. I have had at this location in the past and recommend their iced coffee, strawberry banana smoothie, the lemon cookie and both flavors of scones.

I got the Napa chicken salad sandwiches. There was hardly any chicken salad on my sandwich. There was literally more lettuce than there was chicken salad. I get this sandwich often at other Panera locations and it's never been skimpy like this. There is less than a scoop of chicken salad on the entire sandwich. The bread is big. There's not enough chicken salad to even cover the bread. So most of my sandwich was lettuce and bread.

I legit won’t be surprised if I get food poisoning from this place. Order was completely wrong. Everything was wrong. We did a pick up at 7:40 and the doors were shut so of course we couldn’t go in and get it fixed. Everything we were given tasted like garbage. Panera bread is NOT what is used to be. Don’t waste your money.

The four-star rating is based on about ten visits. Normally the food is good and the service is friendly, but the last few times I’ve gone have been very disappointing. There was a (definitely not my own) hair in a sandwich a month or so ago, and then on my last visit I received a different sandwich than the one I ordered with slimy, wilted greens and a large piece of plastic in it. I will come back, but maybe not for a long while.

In case anyone places an online order, you apparently need to talk to the cashier when you pick it up so they can get it for you from the back. I waited 20 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready to pick it up, only to be told that it had been ready, but they aren't allowed to put orders on the pickup shelf anymore, so they keep them in the back and I need to talk to a cashier next time to get it. I sat in front of an empty pickup shelf for 20 minutes while my order was ready the whole time, and not one sign was on the shelf or anywhere around it to inform customers of this. The pickup instructions in the email I received after placing the order also says to get it from the shelf. I waited patiently, assuming they were behind on orders with every place being short-staffed, but evidently that was a mistake on my part. So confusing and irritating for customers, and could have been completely avoided by printing one piece of paper with that information and putting it on the pickup shelf.

I come here a few times a month. I like the food although it is pricey. This time I went through the drive thru. My latte was handed to me half full? I went right inside and the girl at the bakery got me a new one that was full, she was very polite and apologized. I just got home and opened my sandwich. It appears the Chicken Chipotle Avacado Melt is also being made smaller. 🤔
