Lov-a Burger

A hidden gem of exceptional service and great food! We randomly stopped in here Saturday for a quick bite. Never been here before, but so happy that I stopped. The menu is definitely great to choose from, and the food was very tasty and delicious, even my kids liked it! Had a nice chance to speak with the owner, and he really understands good service, and is just the nicest person. I 100% recommend supporting this business!!

I don't give many of these. This place 100% deserves 5 stars. The burger is fresh, no fillers, it actually doesn't need any of the toppings for you to appreciate it. My husband who always eats burgers with bbq sauce, didn't use his. It was THAT good. Also, they make their fries and onion rings in house. All around, super fresh. I personally thought it was a bit salty but I think it was bc of my cheese and toppings. Their milkshakes are also super good. I'm just sad I don't live closer to here. Unassuming, great quality, good service. What more could you ask for?

I got the Nacho Burger! It was DELICIOUS! And the Onion Rings are PERFECT! Not salty like many other places! Great Customer Service too! The Chef is standing in earshot of the register so it’s easy for the cashier to ask about creative ideas you might have for your order lol I also got a Chocolate Peanut Butter Malted Shake that was GREAT too! Creamy and Smooth AF! My only problem is that I couldn’t try everything on the menu on my first visit lol I will definitely be returning! There’s no wrong order here. U can literally try anything and be happy with it!

I’ve read and heard great things about this place. However I was severely disappointed. I ordered a guacamole burger with bacon- lettuce wrap style. The meat patty was the size of a slider. The lettuce wrap was not a true wrap but rather just a patty haphazardly placed between ice-berg lettuce. I also ordered a tossed salad and I received lettuce and onion. That’s it. No tomato, cheese, cucumber, croutons. NOTHING! The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because when I did actually bite the patty it was flavorful. Don’t think I’d go here again!

This burger was fantastic (the special with fries, coleslaw, and a fried egg). Did I choke a little as I inhaled this masterpiece in the parking lot outside, yes, yes I did. I drove off before trying the shake, the promptly turned around and drove back to get another shake and a burger for a friend. Fries are crispy but not dry... So happy I tried this place!

For three years I was a server and supervisor at a five-star Cuban burger restaurant in Ann Arbor, so when I tell you that Lov-a-Burger makes one of the best burgers I've ever had you can take my word! It's not easy to get a really good medium/medium well where you can taste the richness and fatness of the beef without overwhelming the toppings. Yet every time I'm here, the beef is what really stands out in the burger experience. That's what makes the food here so memorable: they're not hiding anything behind fancy aged cheeses, brioche buns, or lemon-thyme aioli. It's just a perfectly cooked burger. (For those looking for a "just warm rosey-red center" or tartar on a bun, you're wrong and I'm sorry for you.)
