Wuri Sushi

Great place to eat! Friendly staff and delicious food. Obviously the sushi is good, but oh man the soup and salad appetizer is something you should definitely get everytime you come. It's so cheap and a great way to start the experience. I buy a container of the ginger dressing they put on it every time I go. Menu could use a couple photos to help newcomers but otherwise no complaints.

Tried this place because of the high ratings but… We ordered the: Duck pho- they put it all together eventhough it was for take out. So the noodles were soggy when we got home. And they put the jalapenos in it too instead of to the side so the broth was too spicy for my daughter. And the broth was bleh. My daughter said it didn’t really taste like pho :( Chicken spicy noodle - there was only a few chicken pieces and not enough vegetables. You can only taste the spiciness not a lot of flavor Chicken teriyaki - not enough chicken. It was okay Our order came with miso soup and small salad. The miso soup was salty and the salad dressing was not good. Their saving grace is the sushi. We ordered spicy queen, wuri crunchy and the chesterfield roll. They were all good. Just that the wasabi didn’t have the zing. Like imitation with flour. I guess i need to look for another place for japanese/sushi

Update: My kid likes their sushi because the rolls fit in her mouth, so we’ve returned a few more times. I started requesting sauce on the side, and it’s definitely an improvement. When I don’t want to drive far this is where we’ll go. Miso soup is a little salty for my taste but still edible. I order the same eel roll but get it different every time. Sometime my eel is on top like other places and sometimes my eel is inside of the roll. Price doesn’t change though. 🤔 My 1st time here but they add entirely too much sauce to their sushi. Everything is based off tempura or California roll both of which I am not a fan of. They use fresh ingredients so I’ll try again.

Went in for dinner service. Waited 10 minutes before we saw our server to get a menu and water. After 15 more minutes we flagged down a manger to put in our order. Server for our table was non existant. Watched several tables come in, eat and leave before we got our main course. Spotted our dish being made and watched it sit on the counter for about 10 minutes. Expediter moved it down to carry out area for a few more minutes. Then out of nowhere our server FINALLY stopped chatting with her friends and came with the appetizers immediately followed by the main dish that was sitting waiting. We stacked our own dishes and tried to flag her down to pay. Ended up going to the counter and checking out there because we were tired of waiting. The food was good, but the poor service will make me go someplace else next time.

We've ordered from here regularly for several years. They were very good for a long time but the last three or so times we've ordered the rolls all taste the same, very haphazardly made, missing ingredients, one roll was totally the wrong one once. Even the people who only like the bad-for-you deep fried rolls with creamy sauce and crunch do notice when the rolls aren't as good I promise you lol. And considering it's always a 52 to 70 dollar order I don't want to keep wasting my money. But the people who work there seem nice and the food was good for a long time hence the 3 stars.
