Waffle House

Food was great. Our drinks had leaves of some sort in them. I got our waitress's attention and she came over. I told her we had something in our drinks. She quickly got us another. Then I over hear her telling a co worker that someone picked flowers and washed them in the sink and left it dirty. I was disgusted. that made me think some. Why did our glasses come out the sink instead of off the shelf. Why was someone picking flowers and washing them off in the sink where the dirty dishes are. Were we given dirty glasses. But most importantly who ever it was that picked the flowers should not have done so being that it is a food establishment and people have allergies to flowers.

Thank God for Waffle House. It's the ONLY place in the area that offers lunch items at 10am for all the warehouse workers and truck drivers in the area. Staff were super friendly and food was done fast and to perfection. Spouse was SUPER HAPPY to finally get Lunch food for his lunch instead of breakfast items. Will definitely return!!

Walked in and was told no dine in as they were short staffed. There were four employees and zero diners apart from another staff member.. what’s the minimum operating ratio of staff to diners at a Waffle House? If there are ten diners at this place do they need sixty staff? How about doing yalls jobs.

The best waffle house in the area is on Chester Rd. I don't know how they consistently outdo the other locations. I was at Chester Rd Monday and they served up some bacon that brought a tear to my eyes. In contrast, tonight's meal at Willis Rd included almost burnt bacon that was 95% fat, maybe that's why they char it, to make it look like meat 😂. I didn't get the waffle tonight, but the waffle I had yesterday at Chester Rd was a masterpiece of pecanage and flavor. It seemed like the OJ was even larger at Chester Rd. But I can't say for sure. But when Chester Road was open indoors post covid, Willis Road was still closed, in fact tonight was the first time I've caught them not-closed and accepting dine in business since 2020! Just last week (June 2022), I tried to go there and they were takeout only, so I went over to Chester Road... Walked right in, sat right down and had a good meal. They really need to either close this waffle house down, or get serious about running it. It's just sad. I feel bad for the workers who do try to keep it running, their management must really suck.
