We came here for lunch as a party of 6 and despite being over an hour early the staff were happy to accommodate us.
Food and service was excellent, the place was clean and we spent a good few hours here having drinks and a leisurely lunch.
Atmosphere was so nice and reasonably priced drinks and food.
The servers were amazing so friendly and efficient!
We loved it here!

Off the beaten track and immersed in a residential area, this is a local knowledge, very popular bistro/cafe you will be more than pleased you either discovered for yourself, or were kindly directed to. It has been described elsewhere as 'an unpretentious setting hidden away from view'
Locally sourced food (even the herbs are homegrown outside the door) cooked on site with a menu that changes daily.
Visitors to Chew Valley Lake, who, appreciate a calmer, more refined dining experience, will appreciate this venue, well away from the frenetic activity that often occurs closer to the water.

One of my favourite places to eat.
Fresh, quality food. Just another level.
I love the salads, but all dishes are done to a very high standard.
Roasts are also exceptional & great value for money, for how much food you get.
Nicki & Rob are a lovely pair. We enjoy our visits every time we come.

Excellence in every way. This small modern restaurant with outdoor eating / beer garden surpassed all expectations. Every dish was cooked to perfection and the chef went out of his way to prepare delicious and creative vegan dishes which weren't on the menu and without prior warning. We were a big and demanding table of 10 but we were all kept happy with the food, the attentive and helpful staff and the atmosphere. Highly recommended.
