Little gem next to the lake! Brilliant dining experience the food are very tasty, wide range of options, staff are friendly and helpful. The lentil veggie burger, Chicken liver pate, beef roast with Yorkshire pudding and the Cornish mussels are really good. Burger a bit dry but basically most dishes taste wonderful. Banoffee pie as well. Lovely view to the lake and good stroll after the meal. reasonable prices and lovely ambience. Would recommend this to my friends and colleagues for a day out.

Excellent all round staff couldn't do enough for us party of 20. We booked in advance and seeing how busy it gets I would advise anyone book ahead.

My husband took me there for my birthday with my 10yr old grand daughter. They kindly made her a meal which wasn't on the menu, and they brought me out some cake with a candle in for my birthday. It was a lovely experience.

Arrived with 5-10 minutes before the breakfast cut-off and the staff were really good about it (I've been to some places that will turn you away), giving us menus and returning shortly thereafter to get our order into the kitchen in good time. We had the veggie breakfast and eggs royale with a pot of tea to share. Everything was absolutely delicious. A wonderful place for breakfast.

Lovely restaurant set in beautiful grounds overlooking chew lake. Went for lunch with friends. Attractive clean seating area with option to sit outside ( when its not raining as it was when we went!)Some items unavailable on lunchtime menu. However, excellent service and lovely food. Would return

My wife and myself visited for breakfast, lovely relaxed atmosphere with attentive service and lovely food. Full English cooked superb and great coffee.
