I can say they are best Turkish in London! They now have refurbished their interior, which is beautiful. The food is awesome as always. Friendly staff as well. Try the mixed shish kebab--meat tender and juicy. x
We have been there for my wife's birhday with two orher families friends on Saturday 09/01 , first time there and I must say everything was excellent, we had a table booked two weeks before the visit, on the arrival the waitress greeted us and took us to the table, the food was coocked very fast , drinks served as soon as we ordered, mixed meze platter was just ... delisious soo much food very nice, fresh salads looots of salads, everyone was very satisfied, lovely food friendly staff, amazing welcoming we will go back again, thank you Gokyuzu restaurant for wonderfull atmosphere
Had the full platter and calamari starter. Truly excellent food and service. Would highly recommend.
without a doubt, best Turkish restaurant in London
Went last night, waited short while for table. It was heaving.. my waiter was lovely. Food was gorgeous and didn't wait too long or feel rushed despite how busy it was. This place is a winner.
The best restaurant i've ever been in London! The food is awsome, the staff is really friendly, the place is really clean and welcoming!Everything is perfect all the time i'm coming back!
This place had a surprisingly high number of good reviews on google so decided to check it out. Location is not convenient if you don’t have a car. The place itself is huge compared to what you get in central London. We had to wait 20 minutes on Saturday evening. The waiters are friendly, lots of vegetarian options and food portions are big. Cost is decent ~20£ per person. Remember you get a free mezze to begin with so order accordingly.
Food was really nice, portion size could've been bigger mainly the rice, as I ordered the large portion there was more Shish cubes and less amount of rice, the salad was delicious. The waiters were really nice and friendly. The parking area is poor though, way too many pot holes but overall the restaurant was nice and clean.
Lovely staff! They were very friendly and patient with us but the food had taken some time to arrive. The food was absolutely lovely but the portion sizes could've been slightly bigger :)
The popular Turkish restaurant once ranked in the top 3 restaurants in London on Trip advisor opened up a new second branch in Chingford over a year ago and since it’s opened I’ve actually been there 4 times, so that should give you an idea of where this review might be going!. The new location is situated just off the North Circular and is a lot bigger than the original in Harringay Green Lanes. It’s spacious and can accommodate a lot of people, i’m guessing 200 plus.
I've been to Gokyuzu a few times, and there lies the clue for this review. Every time we've been here, the staff and management have been friendly, tentative, and welcoming. The atmosphere is buzzing as it's always busy. We dined here on an early Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table as walk-ins. We had the Family Bundle 2, which is a jumbo platter + large sharing mezzes (10/10), with some warm baklava for dessert (7/10). The food here is fantastic and it has its own dedicated parking. We rounded off the evening with Turkish teas. A really good place to dine as a family or a large group. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and the ambience. Worth every penny.
PS: When we left, there must've been a queue of around 40 people waiting outside. We were lucky!
Be aware that on Saturday evening it can get really busy so be ready to wait to be seated. Car parking is available.
Food was a decent amount and tasted great! Went with a group so we had a mix of vegetarian and non vegetarian, so it was good that they cater for both. Would highly recommend 👌
First of all I dropped 2 stars for the atmosphere as the place is so very noisy it’s not a kind of place that you can sit, eat and have a conversation. I would say prices are a bit higher than expected but service was fast.
The food was perfect, at first they served us a complimentary starter a good bowl of salad, Turkish bread and tzatziki salad. we ordered Adana kebab and mix grill they were perfectly cooked with charcoal grilled taste also the presentation was good. We ordered fried liver it was delicious we even had more as a takeaway.
As a dessert we had a kunefe and rice pudding both were so tasty. Overall I would visit this place again and I hope the can make it less noisy.
This is the one the best Turkish restaurants in London, it’s part of a chain and surprisingly good value for money considering the sizes of portion.
The building is beautifully decorated and the staff are very quick, will help with most questions or concerns.
I fully recommend anything from the grill, you get free salad and bread as much as you like and it’s very good so make sure you take advantage.

Went to this place during my stay at London. The place good a very good ambience. I tried the mixed kabobs, lahmacun and mixed plater. The food were really good. The meats were juicy and tinder. The food was served on time in orders. Really a good place to hangout with bigger group. I would definitely recommend this.
I really do love this restaurant. We were in a panic when we realised they have dairy is almost all item except: olives, hummus, lamb chops, lamb ribs - yup! We were there with my nephew who thankfully was happy with with above items plus salad (phew). For the rest of us we indulged in the chilli sauce and meats plus rice. Absolutely delicious. Spacious and Bright venue too.
We love the food here. The chicken shish dish is our favourite. I ordered chips as a side and they were delicious. The salad and bread were also lovely. It is a little pricey but fine for a special occasion or a special treat.
Tasty Turkish food. Good range of vegetarian options. The vegetarian pide was delicous, as was the lamb adana kebab - sightly smoky and succulent. Friendly, quick service. The bread, tzatziki, and generously sized salad on the house, though prices are quite steep otherwise given the location (around £16-22 for a main). They've tried to make the decor quite smart, though it's noisy and the toilets could be cleaner. Baby-friendly: high chairs and good baby change toilet.
This is the best Turkish restaurant and food I have ever experienced. The staff are very attentive and we were seated right away. The food was amazing, we got the jumbo platter and large mezze and it was more than enough for 5 people, along with food coming extremely fast and flavorful.
Always seated quickly as there is lots of space. The platters are big enough to feed a family, and to take some home. It’s a crowd pleaser as well - kids can pick what they like from the varied selection. Always given complimentary warm bread and salad which also never disappoints. I tried the warm baklava with ice cream which was also very tasty.
I really thought this place would be overrated since seeing everyone on my socials go, but it really wasn’t! I loved it! The meat was cooked perfectly; I had the best ribs ever here. The starter platter was beautiful. Highly recommend it!
I went to this place twice during my stay in London, including a graduation, and the quality of their meat and chicken is very good and the platters are the ☝️. Their starters are yummy and I definitely recommend if you’re a meat lover. Vegetarians can have halloumi and salmon dishes which are also delicious. The only downside to this place is that it’s very loud so it’s not a place for a nice quiet chit chat or anything like that. Also, the manager could do with a little bit of a smile as he had the same face both times I visited. Otherwise the place is a must try.
Such a lovely place to go out with family. The food options are very good too! The staff are very good at answering any questions.
One of my favourite Turkish restaurants in London!!! Deliciously marinated and cooked meat! Always safe to get the mix grill, so you can try different types of meat.
From starters the feta parcels are very nice and the aubergine dip!
Fast and efficient service. Always recommend!
It’s a very good restaurant, Food is very delicious and staffs are well mannered
Very tasty food variety of starters. We got the lamb shish with rice and chips on the side. The bread was delicious, service was great no complaints.
The halloumi salad was really amazing however, those samosas were not as nice as the cheese were too much inside!
Overall, the place was really nice.
