Dropped in for a sit down fish n chips at lunchtime and was not disappointed. Tasty and cooked perfectly. Locals will know of another chippy allegedly the best in Chippenham. Not anymore that title goes to Buckles.

Chips may be frozen but they tasted lovely , I had the fishcake chips and a pot of curry sauce , the meal arrived quickly and hot , and a unexpected side of salad , the young staff were very polite and friendly and my doggie was allowed in also ,overall very very good 👍 😀

Best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Batter was crispy and fresh, no oilyness and chips were super nice and perfect texture too. Service in the shop was really nice too, very friendly cheerful peeps. 😊

Is it me or is £8 for takeaway small cod and chips expensive? I thought the chips were overcooked but many people may prefer it to soggy chips (which I prefer).
The wait was short and staff friendly. There is seating available for those who want to eat out.

Very good Fish and Chip shop with a big following in the area. When ordering plaice you will get large whole one which is full of flavour, enough to fill you up without chips if you are not a big eater. There are tables inside if you want to dine in. A few parking places directly outside and extra places nearby. Wheelchair access is OK as nice and level entrance.

Buckles cooks your order on arrival so there can be a bit of a wait if they're busy, but the food is hot, freshly made and very tasty. Traditional chippy fare but nicely done. The staff are polite and efficient, and there is a dine in option.
