We also had a lovely cup of tea afterwards. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and check that everything is
An absolute hidden gem in Chipping Norton. Friendly staff and stunning food at a good price that completely took us off guard. Great atmosphere and they were able to fit us in during peak hours. Can not recommend this place enough. Go visit if your in the town!
I visited the Chequers this evening with my husband we met Marion, Tom and Alli who have just taken it over and said it was their first day. They plan to start serving food next week. I wish them well. They were friendly welcoming and niece to chat too.
Cracking traditional pub, gets busy so phone ahead if you're hoping to eat. Food is excellent.
Great traditional pub with good food and very friendly and attentive waitress.
Fantastic Sunday roast a few weeks ago here. Lovely pub. Friendly staff. Really recommend it. Will certainly go again when next in Chipping Norton.
Nice old ( 14th century ? ) country pub centrally situated in the town , friendly staff & good ales mainly from the Fullers range . Free parking not far away & the theatre literally just around the corner ( the box office is only next door too ! ) . Food is served certain times of the day & very dog
Nipped in here one Friday night. Got a stool at the bar and was served immediately. The place was busy but nice atmosphere / chatter, no deafening music playing!
Went for food, and as we hadn't booked and the place seemed to be very busy we were please to be offered a table. Staff were very attentive and sociable, drinks and food ordered it wasn't long before we were tucking into beautiful beer battered haddock n chips and chicken and mushroom pie with mash
Delicious Sunday roast. Friendly staff and lovely indoor seating area. Highly recommend!
