A superb little spot with very welcoming staff and excellent food.
It's quietly tucked away, and I wouldn't have thought to find a lovely restaurant where The Stables is, but the location is lovely, with a nice bit of garden, outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking.

Beautiful little restaurant that has been fully renovated behind the Grade II listed building of Vayre House. Keep a look out for the signs overwise it can be easily missed. An absolute gem of a place. One of the nicest roasts in Bristol and a great menu. Would definitely recommend the duck dishes and a beautiful setting.

My husband and I had Sunday lunch at the Stables yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. We chose the roast beef and it was delicious as were the great variety of vegetables served with it, especially the crispy roast potatoes.

Popped in today at lunchtime we were passing through so hadn't booked. We had a table in the garden. Food & wine 10/10 my husband had a meat roast, I had the vegan option definitely recommend, beautiful.
