We have driven past "The Herbert Arms" quite a few times but today we called in for Sunday lunch. We had our two little dogs who were made welcome along with ourselves. The pub was nice and warm with the log burning stove in the restaurant and another in the bar area. We had Turkey and Beef along with home cooked veg and all the trimmings. The service was excellent and so friendly. The trifle and hot chocolate fudge cake were delicious and very decent in size. We are very glad we called in and will definitely be calling in again very soon.

Good pub grub at reasonable prices. Family friendly and great parking. Not many beers on draft, but excellent range of food, including vegetarian.

Very warm reception by proprietors! We had steak and it was excellent... Modest environment made up for by good food and caring staff. Wouldn't hesitate recommending.

If you are looking for a traditional, friendly and warm pub with a good varied menu and lovely freshly cooked meals, then look no further. We recently had a lovely meal here and will be returning customers.
