Visited Nene Cafe & Bistro and was absolutely blown away! From the first sip of the intricately designed cappuccino to the rich and delectable taste of the chocolate cake, it’s clear that Nene takes pride in serving dishes that meld modern tastes with authentic Mediterranean flavors. The café itself emanates a vibrant yet relaxed ambiance, thanks in part to the beautiful lighting and artful décor that captures the spirit of a Mediterranean bistro. The unique combination of floral arrangements and stylish interior creates an atmosphere where modernity meets authenticity. It’s not just a café, but an experience. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking a delightful gastronomic journey in the heart of the Chistlehurst!

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's surprisingly impressive inside. Very decent portions of well cooked food, with a pleasant atmosphere, reasonably priced wine & excellent service. All in all, a very nice way to spend a couple of hours.

Nice place and staff is polite. Menu is varied and the service is quick. I have been there a few times and will go back however Falafel were a bit too hard and portions could be bigger for the price!

Had an impromptu meal here last week and wow, I'm so glad we did. We were working in a nearby school and asked for a recommendation of somewhere within walking distance, so we could be back within an hour. The service was friendly, prices reasonable and food delicious. I had the Nene burger - which included two huge burgers (very juicy) and a slab of halloumi. Onion rings, fries, coleslaw and salad made up the rest of the dish. Everything was top notch. If I'm ever back that way, I'll be going back here for sure.

Definitely one of my favourite places to eat without question! There is such a variety of dishes available which are all prepared deliciously which keeps us coming back regularly. Everything tastes healthier here, right from their homemade chilli sauce, pasta, chicken shish and kofte kebabs, salads and I cannot forget the hummus! The portions are extremely generous. Best of all the owners/staff all share a very accomodating and welcoming attitude at all times. Nothing is too much trouble and they even let you personalise a few things on the menus which is great. Selman always provides excellent service as do the entire team. A hidden gem!

Amazing local bistro to meet friends and eat or for just a coffee. My daughter informs me that they serve the best Oreo milkshake in Bromley. A must visit!

I only had salad and it was ok, my daugter had the Greek salad but only had a few pieces of tomato, the rest was full of cucumber and cabbage underneath( my daugher hates it), so she didn't ate it. The waitress was nice.

Visited a few years and remember loving the drinks. Came back yesterday and it’s even better than I remembered - think it may have been redecorated and it’s really pretty and cosy. The drinks are phenomenal and amazing value - staff are so attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to return!

A family-friendly and affordable cafe in Chiselhurst with a splendid menu and milkshakes to die for. We recently visited this place with our friends and two babies. The staff were really accomodating and welcoming, helping make space for our kids and prams. The menu is excellent, we ate from the breakfast menu which was brilliant. I thoroughly recommend the eggs and avacado Benedict. Most people had the full English which was nice and at only £5 very reasonable. Nice decor inside and there is baby changing if you need it. Very close the the Chiselhurst recreation ground for families in need of wearing little ones out. Live music was planned for the weekend so it's a venue that tries to offer a lot.

This place doe's the best spaghetti Bolognese i know in London. If you not been here you're missing out on some fabulous food, the food gets better n better. George here just to say this place is the best, staff are polite if i could; d give this restaurant a 10 star. Thanks for the best spaghetti Bolognese I've had in year's and will be coming back every week for your amazing food.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Very generous portion sizes, good prices and my husbands meal (moussaka) was delicious. Mine was tasty too (prawn and veg stew) but prawns were overcooked. Children loved the sharing platter and the bulgar wheat, but the kids pizza and chicken nuggets were a bit disappointing - looked like they came from the supermarket. Would be better to have kids sized portions from the main menu. Very nice to have a new option in the village, and with a few small improvements I can see it becoming a favourite :)

My husband and I went here on Saturday the 27th May for our first wedding anniversary. This is our second visit and what a disappointment!! The service was lacking personality and warmth. The food was poor, the salad was very limp, like it was a few days old and unimaginable!! And for a hot day I found my dish to be so dry!! Jeezz, adding a bit more olive oil to your hummus won't kill you!! And to top it off my husband asked if he left his coat I the cafe and asked to if they had cctv to check whether he actually brought the coat out and he got no help what so ever. I can safely say I won't be returning.
