Beautiful old pub with lovely food! We sat in the external courtyard surrounded with flowers... And a cute, nosy boxer watching from his garden up above! πŸ˜‚ Sydney was our wonderful, friendly and vivacious bar/waitress. The perfect blend of attentiveness, information and patience she ran up and down
The staff were delightfully helpful, made room for us in the Bistro with a last minute booking. I see why they describe their Sunday roast as award winning, crispy potatoes, huge Yorkshire pudding, beautiful pink, thick sirloin beef and lovely gravey. We made the mistake of filling up on the artisan
Wow!!! The food was delicious, the staff were lovely, I definitely recommend this pub. Awesome πŸ‘Œ
Popped in for lunch on Saturday as we’re new to the area - easily some of the best pub food I’ve ever had and reasonably priced. The fish and chips were delicious and there were lots of varied vegetarian options for my partner. Very friendly staff and a really cosy traditional pub feel. Will definit

A lovely pub with outdoor seating in a beautiful little courtyard. Burgers were amazing and very fresh. The veggie chilli was a little disappointing, a little bland for my taste. The big plus is the staff, all very, very polite, helpful and a good sense of humour. It's definitely a place to visit.
I have many food intolerances and the knowledgeable staff put my mind at ease, that I could safely eat here. Hard to find a place that I can eat a roast dinner, with gluten free Yorkshire & gravy πŸ‘Œ we were delighted with our hearty, fresh, tasty roast dinner, friendly staff, brilliant service & gr
