First time eating at this lovely canal side pub. Cosy interior. Reasonable prices given the location. I had the scampi and chips, £10.95. My Mum had the Philly cheese steak and fries, £10.95. My Dad had the fish, chips and mushy peas, …
Only had drinks, so can't comment on food. Reasonably priced. Nice beer garden at the side of the canal. Staff pleasant, polite and friendly. Small car park across the road, would imagine parking being a problem when it's busy.
Breakfast reasonably priced and hit the spot! Family and dog friendly. Brilliant service from staff. Amazing views of the canal. Pub and toilets are clean. Car park a little on the small side but manage to find a good spot for our camper and stayed the night. Our second time here and will certainly be coming back 😊 …
Called in on Tuesday. We have been a few times in the past. It was very quiet only 6 people in. We were very happy with the service. The young lady serving was very pleasant and chatty unfortunately I didn't get her name. We will definitely be calling in again. All the best to everyone at top lock.
Visited while staying in the area. Great pub. Fabulous location right next to the canal. Lovely, friendly & polite young lad serving behind bar. Definitely going back soon.
Great pub, beautiful location, great food, great service and good value. We hired the pub out for my Daughters Birthday and it was a roaring success. Everybody commented on how lovely the venue was and how nice the food was. Thanks Dawn for putting on a great night for us.
