I came today with my family for my birthday as a party of 13 people. Having been before and didn't particularly enjoying it last time I was pleasantly surprised when I came back today! Our poor server Adam was faced with a rather chatty family but managed to get everything right and be completely calm with the situation. The food was lovely and no one had a bad word to say about it. I'd like to thank them all for their patience and apologies for the mess we probably left behind. Myself and my partner will visit again at some point :)
fantastic place at buchshaw village , good food , good staff , really enjoyed the meal, the guy who served us was called stuart very pleasent, well done.
Came for tea as a group of 5, waiter (Stuart) seemed to be the only person waiting on, he was fantastic!!!!! was rushed off his feet. Great food, great drinks, fantastic service!! Xx

Myself husband and my 4 ye old had a lovely meal out yesterday.

Only ever been to Harvester for Breakfast before last night, went for an evening meal, the steak was cooked to perfection and everything else was excellent too, very impressed Harvester Buckshaw Village
Great service as always in the harvester. The food was very nice and will skip the crumble next time as it apple felt cubed and partially cooked and the sauce artificial. Other than that the salad bar is great (no potato salad?) will definitely visit again.
We ordered fried chicken burgers and fries tonight and the whole experience was delightful!! We picked it up and it was ready on time, the service was amazing, packaged very thoughtfully and the food was SO yummy and fresh. Great standards. They've just gained 2 new loyal customers! 😃
We come for tea here and we found it very accessible. The customer service was excellent, they sat us down immediately and asked us if we would like a drink. Temperature was perfect, not to hot or cold. Food was excellent and average prices. Would recommend.
Just had lunch off the 2 course menu £11.99. You also get the salad bar in that price.
" A Bargain " . I Had Gammon fries onion rings tomato and garden peas, Followed by a large strawberry sundae. My wife had scampi fries and garden peas Followed by a peppermint tea.

I'm definitely visiting again also the slug and lettuce have Great drinks and prices with excellent quality of food with a short waiting time and friendly locals with a verity of drinks and meal including their house beers. It's also child friendly also has a good sized beer garden where you can some and/or vape and to drink and eat upside it really is a fantastic place for a night out or just for a quiet drink also the staff are very approachable and patient it's always been clean and tidy and also when you have a meal there is a good verity selection of sauces thehe ale is fantastic in my opinion such a lovely draft also they pervide colouring books and crayons for the children to keep occupied also with a great verity selection of coffees and hot chocolates it's not really a good place for parking as it's in the middle of the town centre but it's close to plenty of takeaways which is always good. I have been going for years now and haven't had any trouble with any locals I really do suggest that you give the a visit also to toilets are always have been clean and tidy and easily to access and the have a down stairs toilet facilities for people when struggle to go upstairs and table services are pervided and great customer service also. Definitely a five star rating
Busy family pub. Food was good but chips were cold. Clean and fresh environment with good salad bar.
Chips were knocked off the bill so all good and on reflection I was probably a bit mean.

There is a lot of choice and plenty of sauces to choose from, especially at the salad bar.
The bottomless drinks also have lots of choice and ice to suit.

I was pleasantly surprised as I haven't had a Harvester for over 5 years as the one local to me went down hill but this one was very good. Nice clean modern looking restaurant with a well stocked salad bar and a much better menu than I can remember. The food was nice and the service was good. Definitely liked it and I won't be leaving it so long until I try another Harvester again!
Generous sized meal with Friendly staff.
Had a lovely meal and was surprised at the size of the portions for a reasonable price.
Vegetarian, Vegan and Glutan free options were clearly marked.
A great meal was had.
Quicker service, particularly behind the bar, we had to wait for ages for our drinks, we dont mind going to the bar but if your going to take drink orders at the table, deliver them straight away, not wait to be asked where they are 10 minutes later. The idea is to have a drink while looking at the menu, then order wine for the meal!! We will not be happy if this occurs again on the next visit.
We all had a lovely meal on Wednesday evening. Very good portion sizes, delicious food and you can now help yourself to the salad bar.
