Great service as always in the harvester. The food was very nice and will skip the crumble next time as it apple felt cubed and partially cooked and the sauce artificial. Other than that the salad bar is great (no potato salad?) will definitely visit again.

We ordered fried chicken burgers and fries tonight and the whole experience was delightful!! We picked it up and it was ready on time, the service was amazing, packaged very thoughtfully and the food was SO yummy and fresh. Great standards. They've just gained 2 new loyal customers! 😃

We come for tea here and we found it very accessible. The customer service was excellent, they sat us down immediately and asked us if we would like a drink. Temperature was perfect, not to hot or cold. Food was excellent and average prices. Would recommend.

" A Bargain " . I Had Gammon fries onion rings tomato and garden peas, Followed by a large strawberry sundae. My wife had scampi fries and garden peas Followed by a peppermint tea.

I'm definitely visiting again also the slug and lettuce have Great drinks and prices with excellent quality of food with a short waiting time and friendly locals with a verity of drinks and meal including their house beers. It's also child friendly also has a good sized beer garden where you can some and/or vape and to drink and eat upside it really is a fantastic place for a night out or just for a quiet drink also the staff are very approachable and patient it's always been clean and tidy and also when you have a meal there is a good verity selection of sauces thehe ale is fantastic in my opinion such a lovely draft also they pervide colouring books and crayons for the children to keep occupied also with a great verity selection of coffees and hot chocolates it's not really a good place for parking as it's in the middle of the town centre but it's close to plenty of takeaways which is always good. I have been going for years now and haven't had any trouble with any locals I really do suggest that you give the a visit also to toilets are always have been clean and tidy and easily to access and the have a down stairs toilet facilities for people when struggle to go upstairs and table services are pervided and great customer service also. Definitely a five star rating

Busy family pub. Food was good but chips were cold. Clean and fresh environment with good salad bar.
Chips were knocked off the bill so all good and on reflection I was probably a bit mean.

There is a lot of choice and plenty of sauces to choose from, especially at the salad bar.
The bottomless drinks also have lots of choice and ice to suit.

I was pleasantly surprised as I haven't had a Harvester for over 5 years as the one local to me went down hill but this one was very good. Nice clean modern looking restaurant with a well stocked salad bar and a much better menu than I can remember. The food was nice and the service was good. Definitely liked it and I won't be leaving it so long until I try another Harvester again!

Generous sized meal with Friendly staff.
Had a lovely meal and was surprised at the size of the portions for a reasonable price.
Vegetarian, Vegan and Glutan free options were clearly marked.
A great meal was had.

Quicker service, particularly behind the bar, we had to wait for ages for our drinks, we dont mind going to the bar but if your going to take drink orders at the table, deliver them straight away, not wait to be asked where they are 10 minutes later. The idea is to have a drink while looking at the menu, then order wine for the meal!! We will not be happy if this occurs again on the next visit.

This restaurant is average at best but with above average prices. My mum and I both ordered the chicken with king prawns, part of the 35th birthday celebration menu. The prawns were clearly out of a packet from Tesco, stuck on a wooden stick and heated up in the microwave. We asked the waiter to get the chef to warmed the prawns up- preferably under the grill. He came back with a plate and asked us to put the skewers on it. He took the plate back to the kitchen where we heard the beeping of microwave buttons. He then came back and produced the same prawns that he said had been “put under the grill”. The prawns had not been grilled at all- they were warm, rubbery bullets with some strange garlic sauce on top. To say this dish is part of their celebration; they should remove it as it is nothing to celebrate about. It does not enhance the menu. Real disappointment.

Chicken and penne Arrabiata meal, the worst meal I ever had. I couldn't eat the Chicken as it was tasteless and soggy like it had been boiled before it was given a grill. It had no texture about it whatsoever. The waitress looked at me like I was mad when I tried to describe it. She amended the bill and charged us for the Vegetation pasta meal so £1 cheaper!. I won't be returning.

I came today with my family for my birthday as a party of 13 people. Having been before and didn't particularly enjoying it last time I was pleasantly surprised when I came back today! Our poor server Adam was faced with a rather chatty family but managed to get everything right and be completely calm with the situation. The food was lovely and no one had a bad word to say about it. I'd like to thank them all for their patience and apologies for the mess we probably left behind. Myself and my partner will visit again at some point :)

Have been a few times and generally found it reasonable. However last night was our first disappointment. No rotisserie chickens left when we ordered at 8pm. Wife then went for the belly pork but that was also off the menu. Ordered a BBQ chicken wings starter but never got them. Main course arrived before we had the starter.
I asked for medium rare rump steak but only half was that and as I progressed to the other half of the steak it turned into medium to well done.
all in all not one of our better visits saved only by the special offer on the mains course which was still given even though I managed to delete it from my mobile just as I was paying.
Hopefully it was a one off but won't be heading back quickly.

Attended for an 'All in Breakfast' on Sunday it was my first ever visit here and was disappointed! The food was completely over cooked and tasteless. The buffet was a poor standard and wasn't worth the cost.

I ordered surloin steak after recommendation from waiter but when it arrived it was really tough and I couldn't eat it. Waiters were so busy no one came back near us and everyone else in party finished eating before I could say anything. So when waiter came for payment and asked what was wrong with steak he called for manager. Manager made me feel like I was lying and said he 'would send it away for testing as this was a quality issue'.
He did refund the cost of the meal but I felt so embarressed as he obiously did not belive me.
Will not be going back.

Terrible came for breakfast with friends and children. 6 adults 4 children told us they couldn't seat us. Ended up having to wait over and hour to be seated absolutely ridiculous management didn't even apologise we all ended up leaving. Will never recommend to friends or anyone ever. !!!!!!! �����

Went for a family meal tonight for 7 people and the service was terrible despite it not being busy. Staff too busy talking to each other at times. Massive delay between our mains and desserts and one member still waiting his second pot of tea. Very disappointed.

Was in for breakfast this morning, we have been on several occasions and it's been ok. Today the breakfast was cold, the poached eggs was like rubber. No body came to check back , it was busy so the staff was with other customers so couldn't get there attention, was disappointed .
