The single greatest location in the North West for the pie lover. Lovely taste great pastry and the whist pie is a must. Wish they'd open inside seating up again though. Great food
Just had my first Bowen sausage roll. What a delight, the best sausage roll I have ever tasted! Delicious tender meat, lots if it, and perfect pastry. Won't be eating a Gregg's sausage roll again any time soon.
Chunky steak great, cheese and onion great, meat and potatoes great. Meat pies poor. Hardly any filling. Needs improvement. Hollands meat pie much much better

I can’t believe how long we’ve lived here and never been, came in for the first time Saturday lunchtime as it smelt great walking past we had the chunky steak and the kids had sausage rolls best pie I’ve ever tasted. Just found our new favourite lunch spot
Things don't always go as planned and I had an issue with the poor level of service I received at this shop. I left a bad, but accurate, review and I was quickly contacted by a member of the Bowen family who offered to look into my complaint. To cut a long story short the Bowen family really do care
