Visited for coffee late afternoon & evening / night time for 2, 3 pints of bitter or lager, never eaten there. Bar staff young, polite, friendly, helpful. Commercial DJ Saturday nights regularly. Quite good prices. Managed well including security staff who make their presence known without intimidation or arrogance; they are polite,m friendly & capable. Good night out in a modern pub setting.

It is what it is. Reasonably placed, reasonably priced pub in the middle of town.
Ordered via the app. First round of drinks arrived quickly and ice cold. Food arrived shortly after and was freshly made, cooked and as described. Good portions and well priced.
Ordered a second round and deserts and both came really quickly. Fruit was fresh and good portion sizes.
All in very much improved from last time we visited despite it being busy on a Thursday early evening.
Staff seemed happy to help and made sure we got our orders quickly. 👌

A reasonably priced for food and drinks from a local chain of Wetherspoon pub. Food is hot and delicious and surprisingly they have drawing pictures for your little kids as well. With two floors open till midnight, its is certainly a place to hangout with your friends and family.

Excellent Food at Great Prices, Wonderful Start to the Day
Super fast and friendly service at this weatherperson pub, with absolutely the best full English to boot.
Food was perfectly cooked and piping hot, eggs nice and runny exactly how i like them, unlimited coffee also part of the deal, with oat milk for those like myself who are lactose intolerant,
The pub is spotless, clean floors, tables and windows of which they have a lot to keep on of here as the whole front is big glass windows, even in the doors.
The staff are chatty and friendly even when busy, they try their best to create a welcoming, warm atmosphere.
The only place i will go for a breakfast before a long journey, top quality highly recommended.

Great food. Just your typical spoons service, staff are great but the stock and technical issues they have are their only set back. Always a table free. Definately a regular place to go.

Very popular, nice staff, enjoyed our food, tables could do with being cleaned between customers though.
One of the few pubs in Chorley that do food and drink, of course everyone knows that Wetherspoons do food and drink, but virtually almost no other pubs in Chorley offer food. Strange

Standard Weatherspoons prices for the North. Helpful staff & clean pub. Two levels & surprisingly spacious, food was prompt & hot. It's about as good as you can expect for the price.

Modern building, do not much character. Quite big. Downstairs was busy and noisy but upstairs was more peaceful. Usual Wetherspoons menu - and the food was good. Great service. Ladies room was large and very clean

Nice little wetherspoons. Good atmosphere. Food was good and here fairly quick, the pitchers were very nice!
Would come again.

It's my favourite place to eat out, cheap and cheerful. Order from the table so I don't have to stand in a queue or lose my table. 5☆

Decent enough breakfast and coffee with fillups.
Typical 'Wetherspoons' fare really.

Came for a cheap dinner with my daughter. Food and drink were delivered quickly and with friendly service, as always.

Very busy place food lovely. Waiter had to wipe our table down. We got our own menu's before waiter came with them. We had to get our own sauces for our meal.

Called into Sir Henry Tates yesterday on a very cold day. Lovely and warm inside and we got a table straight away. Placed our order for the large breakfast!!! which came very quickly and looked really good. Got to admit the breakfast defeated me haha but it was really tasty. Kim who served us was pleasant and very polite. She is credit to you. Would recommend Sir Henry Tates to anyone.

Wrong food received very poor service no customer service, nobody came and asked if the meal was ok. In fact very little staff available. Very disappointing.

Went in for a steak on Tuesday to find that all the daily specials have been suspended for Burns Week -haggis based.
As I'm not keen on minced lungs with barley, oats and tallow however nicely presented, I was somewhat disappointed.
Yes, I know the other menu was there but a 'Spoons steak is my Tuesday treat.
Kath Roby
had breakfast with my daughter the food was luke warm egg crispy on outside still raw in the inside toast over cooked but my daughter enjoyed the eggs Benedict.

Popped in yesterday for a Sunday brunch, the service was quick but the food didn't taste right but I didn't want to make a fuss to the staff
Paul Lee
Shocking children's portion ice cream. 20 min wait to get served and a melted teaspoon was presented as a child's desert.
Christopher Fothergill
Need more staff. Waited to long to get served. Ale was top class as was the food. But the wait to get served was abysmal. Come on wetherspoons get it sorted.
Gary William Cragg
