Eastgate mall really isn't for the shoppers, it holds stores that carry all the necessities for life and offers another great community library, food court, supermarket, The Warehouse and Chemists are the main reason for going to Eastgate if you live in the area. Fashion, pop culture and electronic shopping really isn't on offer there, Eastgate is a dedicated community hub for the Eastside population.

Enjoyed Eastgate Mall, had a variety of shops to choose frm, clothing to dollar dealshops, to hairdressers, which iv visited handful times n bn happy wth results, a countdwn supermarkt, the warehouse n w/stationary, eating/dining area n food to choose frm n much much more. Was very handy to where i stay wen i visit Christchurch.

I was there for the library. As far as libraries go,it's a pretty good one

For 2 days in a row I had 2 different ladies printing out material for me in the library, they were so lovely & helpful, sure made my day & nothing was a bother to them

Eastgate is such a convenient way to shop as there is plenty of shops to look and browse through window or to enter inside
food court is excellent
Last visit there was to support a friend while going to the Drs upstairs at the medical rooms
Waiting room very tidy masks worn and sanitized of hands before entry great :-)
