Fantastic food and fantastic service. We ate here on a Tuesday night, it wasn't particularly busy but the guys waited for us to finish our food and didn't rush us at all! We were the last ones standing still drinking our wine. We were even offered coffee and dessert and told to take our time. Felt very welcomed and comfortable. The chicken and ribs combo was excellent!
To top it off, one of the guys came over and offered me a free beer as he poured it by mistake. What a lovely touch! Will be back again and again!

Enjoyed a lovely lunch at James & White. Friendly service and tasty food.
The chicken liver pate starter was really delicious and the fish & chips and fish bucket came in a generous portion sizes. Prices were reasonable too.

Very nice small restaurant on the high street! Very friendly staff and a great menu to pick from. I went with the “fish bucket” which was a great choice, full of great sea food. The steak was also great with a brilliant sauce! They also had tiny rebel on tap which was a great beer!

Really enjoyed the ambience. Never easy to dine out on a Monday evening but the restaurant was busy and the staff friendly and efficient. It was our first visit and we'll be back. The special offer menu is very good value and appealing and they also have a restaurant in Sea Road, Boscombe, which is very appealing.

On holiday and walked in on the off chance. Service was quick and staff were friendly. There is a good selection on the menu and our food was amazing. Seasoned well and cooked to perfection. There is also a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Lovely place to eat. Reasonable enough prices. Good quality food, good portions. We had fish and chips which was fab.
We didnt book but ate around 5.30pm on a Friday night. It was much busier by the time we left so advised to book.
