We booked for 6 of us as not from the area and wasn't sure how busy it would be. Was quite busy when we arrived but didn't have to wait long for anything. This pub is very big and spacious and all the staff were very friendly and professional. The pub does look a bit tired but don't let that put you off. The 32oz steak share was very nice with a collection sauces. At £20 it was very reasonable.

We've been coming to this pub for over 5 years and still love coming here with family and friends. The food quality is outstanding every time. The service provided by every member of staff is always good. Becca makes sure we always have a good experience every visit and is by far the best assistant

Food and staff lovely but rough clientel and despite a fight were not asked to leave. Sad really as a nice pub and could have been handled much better. After 20 minutes we followed many others and left.
