Like skimming metaphorical flat stones across a mirror still lake Megan toured our taste buds across the finest Brexited regions of continental wine producers with effortless ease. Like an enthusiastic backpacker with a Belles-lettres touch she rambled across their estates pointing out the indigenous context of the wines she poured, rather endlessly without pompous reverence . Quietly ushering curated cheese paired together with the wine with such symbiotic expertise one wonders what dark magic was involved. There was always been wine and cheese but rarely are they elevated to an art exhibition. They are in this place. Bravo.

Christchurch was ready for a new place and glad it's such high quality. One of the best bars I've ever been in. Great ambience, wine and food. Owner and all staff welcoming which is such a refreshing change. Well done, we'll be back very soon.

This is a very chilled, unpretentious little spot for wine (and other loved liquid refreshments and nibbles). Treat yourself and sample some fantastic hand picked indulgence. What a place to relax, chat and enjoy life.

Fantastic place, beautiful wine with the right temperature, great selection of cheese and charcuterie. One thing to remember, they don’t take table bookings. So make sure you get there early enough, and secure nice sitting area. Great job Megan and the Crew. Xxx

What an amazing little place. The staff knew exactly what wines to suggest. The cheese board was amazing and more than enough for two. Jess was a fabulous waitress and a credit to the business. We will 100% be coming back x

It has a lovely atmosphere even when we went early in the evening. The food is good without being exceptional. The sausage with 'romesco' sauce was odd; just a paste spread on a rather flavourless sausage (not pictured). Other bits of food were tasty. Had a glass of sangria which was delicious! And the cocktails are also great. Lovely staff and got a tasty sherry to finish the meal.

We really loved this place. Great atmosphere. Staff nice and attentive. Food was lovely, highly recommend the pork cheek as one tapas dish, so tender and delicious. Good wine list and cocktails. Would definitely go again.

A lovely wine/cocktail Tapas bar in a quiet street just off Christchurch High Street. We popped in late one evening for drinks and a bite to eat and really liked the place. It's recently under new management and that seems to be working well. Try the rosemary manchenco cheese it's amazing with the special quince jelly. It's a relaxed vib, lovely service and we'll priced food and drinks.

DJ'd a 50th Birthday there on Saturday night. A very nice, clean, well maintained wine bar. Very friendly and professional staff. A nice sized venue for a birthday party with 50-70 people.

Had been meaning to pop into Bodega for a while now and just happened to head in for a glass of wine whilst out with a friend one evening. I loved it. They had a great band on which was playing 30s prohibition/speakeasy music, very funky. The wine was simply superb, the sharer boards delicious, and the ambience great. Megan the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I shall definitely be heading back...

Perfect place with new owners. A really welcoming and friendly wine/tapas bar. Very clean and very popular. Set on side of town road with easy access. Step into the bar and the atmosphere is stunning. Great selection of wines and spirits. Well prepared small plates. Reasonable prices and great team to look after you. Will and have returned on more than one occasion.

Very very happy making. Love the bar stools & slate (I think?!) bar, love the knowledgable bar staff (who aren't trying to flog the most expensive wine) who took our vague description of red wines we like and gave delicious offerings in the price range we set. Provided plenty of water and were happy to chill our red wine (not wierdos). Have yet to try the bottle of red fizz we left with. Thoroughly lovely.
