We were travelling back to Norfolk enroute from Wales and the Greyhound had been recommended to us. A pleasant walk there for us and once inside enjoyed a relaxing drink in a cosy comfortable atmosphere. The menu was varied and our meals did not disappoint. Would definitely go back. Friendly service excellent food.

The Greyhound has been a solid pub since we have been in Cirencester, it has had several owners and there has been variable performance on our visits, so much so we had been going to the Fleece in town as our preferred venue. I received an offer to have a free Birthday Dinner provided I went with 3 people so as my Daughter had offered already to pay thought I would save her a bob or two and evaluate once again. The food was delightful, Fish and chips, Goulash and Cajun Spiced vegetable tortilla (actually a Fajita) all were great, I had beer and that was also excellent. Very friendly staff So for the time being it gets a full 5 stars...

We were a party of 8 which included 4 young children. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic for children and adults alike. Good selection of ales on tap too! Lovely environment for our Chridtmas family gathering.

We visited The Greyhound for a birthday get together with family travelling from all over the country. The staff were extremely helpful getting us booked in, preordering our food and making sure we were happy with when we wanted the food to come out. The staff were welcoming when we arrived and the meal itself was delicious, everyone enjoyed their meal, starters, main and puddings. We will definitely be back again. Thank you

This was the first meal we have had at the Greyhound in a long time. We were both impressed with the menu and the specials. My courses were both off the specials board and they were both gorgeous. We will certainly be back again soon

Lovely atmosphere and great food. We especially loved the roasts! Shame the dessert we wanted wasn’t available!

Visited on a whim and booked a table 45 minutes prior. We've lived quite close (4 minute drive) for about a year and I can't believe this is the first time we've been! A lovely country pub, fresh and tasty food with genuinely excellent service. Will definitely be back for the fish and chips and the sticky toffee pudding 😋

Food was prompt and hot. Plates hot too! Attentive waiting staff. My only gripe being that there are no smaller portions and I had to leave a lot of my food as it was too much and this is wasteful.

Firstly outside area kept lovely, planters filled with well kept plants Traditional feel to the pub on entering Staff acknowledge us straight away Had a mix up with my booking but manager still able to accommodate us Gave us information about change over of jenu at 6 and asked if we would like to wait until then to order. Staff friendly and we're busy. Starters were fantastic Main course the same, steaks cooked perfect Only downside was we didn't have room for pudding, maybe next time, as we will be returning. Well done for you great pub and friendly staff. Thank you

Lovely village pub with friendly staff and an excellent main menu at reasonable prices. However the sweets / puddings we ordered were small and not value for money, although the Eton Mess had by one of our group was huge. We use the Greyhound a lot as its mid point between us and family members, we will still use it, but will not be having puddings or sweets again.

Not been for years. My mistake. Super food and good portions. Waddie's 6X is an awesome pint. You'd be missing out if you don't try it. No intention of wandering and wouldn't force the issue but the veggie menu looked quite good.

One of the few pubs in the area that’s open and serving food on a Monday lunchtime. There’s a good menu offering of pub food and the portions are generous. The staff are friendly and helpful.

A good selection of beers. The food was well prepared and generous portions. The service was friendly and efficient. The star was deducted as the toilets were poorly maintained/cleaned

Excellent customer service- very friendly, attentive, checking everything was okay and able to recommend dishes. Food was also excellent. Delicious and well cooked and presented. The nachos were home- made and the best we've ever had! A very good range of dishes to choose from including vegetarian dishes. A comfortable and nice environment. Thank you to all. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending to others or return in the future.
