Rajdoot Tandoori

Couldn’t rate this place any higher if I tried. The service was faultless. The place was packed out, the man who served our table was incredibly efficient and got every single thing exactly right. The food was outstanding. I had the Rajdoot Special which was by far one of the best curries I’ve ever had

First takeaway 2022: The egg fried rice was really nice, the chicken tikka pieces had nice flavour but were a bit chewy, the garlic naan was nice and the butter chicken was very sweet. The service was good, food came pretty quickly. Won’t be rushing back there again as I’ve had much better Indians but was a nice meal. Second takeaway May 2023: had chicken tikka masala, pilau rice and tandoori fish which was all really nice and this is a perfectly acceptable Indian so I’m upping it to 4 stars. Still not the best Indian I’ve been to as it’s al quite sweet. Ordering online is also very easy.

Had my first dine in Indian meal in years, and boy it did not disappoint . I had Bajas & Samosas to start & Dupizia for main both well cooked and not greasy, will definitely go again and would recommend, meal for 4 with drinks £111 good value. I appreciate this is controversial but they could stock one traditional bitter not everyone is a fan of lager.
