This has to be one of the best fish and chip restaurants in the UK. The best batter, top chips and fresh, flavoursome fish. Friendly and fast service. A must visit for Clacton visitors.

Great fish and chips. Lovely to eat after a day at the beach. Good customer service too. It's a bit oily but that's expected.
PS. go to the McDonalds across the road for free ketchup

Great place to stop by for fish and chips with a cuppa tea. I had the skate cooked to perfection. My mate had cod. We had bread and butter too. The service was excellent. The toilets are up a steep set of stairs.

Very busy, nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and good service.
There were three of us, and we were very lucky to get a table.
You can book a table and pre-order your food, which a lot of people had done! It was our first time here, and we are going to make it our go to Fish and Chip shop!
I was delighted to see my favourites on the menu and our Northern Friend found his too. There is something to please everyone here!

I can honestly say that this is the best fish and chips in clacton. The staff are so friendly and you don't have to wait ages for your meal. Service is quick. You can get a beer or a cuppa. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant experience! Went there today and had the best fish and scampi we had ever tasted. The portions were large, food was fresh and sauce was generously provided. The service from Peter and his colleagues Frankie and Mandy, was 10/10, as was the food. We even went back later in the day for dessert. Thoroughly recommend this establishment for delicious food and excellent service, it made our trip to Clacton really special. We had a first class welcome and dining experience from start to finish!
