Had an enjoyable evening here. Dropped one star on the food as the naan bread with the curry my wife had was as hard as a piece of cardboard. Other than that great service, and good priced real ales.

The location is great right by the sea and by the pier, the pub was clean and tidy in fact probably the cleanest loo's i have seen at a wetherspoons and they where on the ground floor. Food was good but i have been to plenty of spoons as the service is always quick and you know what your getting but it was more warm than hot.

Great value place to eat and drink. Relatively busy but comfortable. Only dropped a star due to the ice scoops in one dish were melted when served but probably just a blip during our visit. Good location for the pier.

Attended on a Sunday and the usual very good service was received at the Moon and Starfish. My first visit here and I will certainly be back. Staff were very polite, professional and working hard. Quick order at the bar, lots of good ales on tap (always good to see). Ordered food and as usual, excellent quality. Toilets (always important) very, very clean. Nice Whetherspoon this and enjoyed my visit. Appears to be very well managed. Well done Moon and Starfish. I’ll be back.

Came in today to have some lunch around 3pm very busy. Got a table. We ordered on the app. Staff were very quick in a busy restaurant working very hard. Drinks came quick and so did good and staff were cleaning tables straight away and keeping it clean they were on it and we even got a check back if everything was ok with our food. Good food, fast service and working hard and clean and topped up sources and coffee machine.

Loved the food here. Shame our waiter was the most miserable person we'd seen. I just hope he gets help for whatever is going on in his life right now. I genuinely mean that! Young lad, not one smile, no response to our several ty's. Please be kind to him. 🙏🙏

We visited The Moon and Starfish Wetherspoons pub on Clacton seafront on a Tuesday evening. Around 6pm it wasn’t too busy and there were lots of tables to choose from.
We used the Wetherspoons app to order our food and drinks.
The food was hot and the service was quick.
As the night went on it got louder in the pub.
I would recommend a visit, you know what you are getting when you visit a Wetherspoons.
