Great coffee and toasties definitely recommended for that lunchtime refill & great staff

A good spot on Clacton to come to at various times of day, nice in the early morning when not too busy, when there staff were helpful and there was lots of space for either group tables or single spots to sit.
Sometimes can be busy at popular times but lots of people serving can help with getting through orders quickly.

We go to Costa at waterglade clacton on sea most days for toasted sandwiches and coffee staff are so pleasant and helpful 😊

Nice little Costa in the heart of Clacton-on-Sea.
I would've given 5 stars aside from seeing some poor gentleman having to hobble over to the counter to collect his drink instead of one of the baristas doing what they should be paid for & politely bringing beverages over on a tray with sugar, napkins & plenty of milk.

Yet again a costa that couldn't provide the full expreince no balls for new mango frappe but made it without the balls the lids where not on probably and spilled down my top but never mind it made up for it in taste and cooled me down

COVID compliant, with about half the seats closed to ensure distancing, a large screen barrier for the staff, an automatic hand gel dispenser and of course a trace login point. Really nice food and drink as ever, super friendly staff who were happy to add a dash of sugar syrup to my mum's iced frappuccino.
Best thing of all? With the current 50% off government incentive, a drink and cake each came to under a fiver all in.

Service was quick and the staff were friendly and polite.
Tables were cleared in a timely manner
Quite a nice selection of cakes and sandwiches to choose from as well as other nibbles to go with your coffee.
Can find no fault and enjoyed a cold drink (salted caramel and cream) which I would definitely recommend.

Manager was was great. Despite issues with the tills, she was spot on, and I could actually taste the syrup with my coffee, which is very rare in a Costa, yield being more important and all.
