Amazing food, had the Cote de Bouef and what a steak that was!! cooked to perfection, lovely sides could probably feed more than two with the generous helping of chips and side salad. The team working were very attentive and always looking to see how they can help, very proactive but not intrusive.

What a lovely traditional country pub. Excellent friendliness and service. Lots of places to sit and still see the views. Beautiful food at reasonable prices. I've added a picture of the menu but I think it's subject to change. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Food started at 6pm.

One of the best meals I have ever had.
The service was excellent, very attentive and the food was served very quickly.
All the courses were presented beautifully, tasted wonderful, and were very generous portions. The price was also very reasonable.
I started with a cheese souffle with candied pecans which I thought sounded a little different, and it was, but wonderful.
I then had a homemade chicken and leek pie with mash and garden vegetables which was just as good as the first course and I finished with elderflower panna cotta with rhubarb and home made lavender shortbread, again the flavours were incredible.
My description doesn't do it justice, you have got to try for yourself.
Many thanks for a superb lunch, a great way to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
