Review The Hyndburn Restaurant & Bar - Clayton le Moors

Been here a few times now and the food never disappoints. Today as always, it was beautiful. We had the steak and ale suet pudding and a meaty pizza. Only negative feedback I have is one of the waitresses had a really bad habit of sticking her fingers in her mouth, and wiping her nose on her hand then serving drinks or food without washing her hands first. She needs some hygiene training!

Visited on a Monday evening as a last minute decision to eat out. Lovely friendly staff, great service and fresh hot food. Pizza was excellent and Lamb burger was also delicious. Prices very reasonable.

A quick check of the toilets on entry as you can tell a lot about a place on the condition of the facilities and they were spotless as was the rest of the pub. There were 5 adults and a newborn in our party and we all ordered food and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the pan-fried Sea Bass on a bed of potato stew which was amazing. They have an excellent selection of drinks on offer, I partook in a couple of pints Moorhouses which was spot on. Finally big shout to the staff who were all wonderful and a credit to the business. Highly recommended

Visited Thursday teatime sat outside in the sun in the lovely outside area. The food service was great efficient and polite. The food quality was great presentation excellent and large portions. Menu choices plentiful something for everyone. Best pub meal I’ve had in a long time will definitely be back.

Mid-week late lunch. First time visit but will definitely be back. Fabulous food, good variety, decent prices, friendly and efficient staff, clean and tidy toilets. Would definitely recommend.

Been here 3 times now and finally managed to get hold of a Sunday roast. Not surprised they are so popular. Very yummy and finished every last bit. Deeeelicious 😋😝😋

Hadn’t been down to the Hyndburn Bridge for a long time. Food was good, had a few different dishes and everyone was happy. Portions were big which is good, but heads up! Staff were friendly and attentive.

Good awareness and gluten free choices for Coeliacs. Makes a change not just to be given the vegan options because they don't have a clue!

Visited for tea last night, had cajun chicken skewers and salt and pepper prawns starters, then a southern fried chicken burger, cheeseburger and onion rings. Cooked to perfection. Good pause between courses. Good very fresh and brought to the table straight out of the kitchen. Compliments to the chef. It was a quietish Tuesday night, although the staff welcomed us in and provided very efficient service I feel they could have been a bit more friendlier, maybe a smile and acknowledgement of a decent tip? Excellent drinks, mini prosecco good quality and cask ales. Extremely good value for money. Will be back at the weekend with the in-laws. �

Been to the Hyndburn Restaurant and Bar this afternoon with all the family as a treat for Mum (7 adults, 3 kids and a dog!) Loved the place, the atmosphere, the food and the service. We all enjoyed our meals, were served in a timely fashion by helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely be back for a second visit, thank you!

The staff were friendly and attentive, the starter was amazing cheese nachos mmmm, then had mixed grill was amazing, a little bit pricey but well good highly recommend it. Very nice birthday meal and also love the fruit ciders too full to have a pudding😂😂😂

Went around 4pm during the week. Wasn't busy but the staff friendly and welcoming. Food was Piping hot and very tasty.. Going off this visit I would go again and recommend to my friends and family.

Went yesterday teatime with friends. Extensive menu, warm welcome, delicious food, fantastic service and attentive staff. We all loved it...and stayed until 9 o'clock! Definitely worth a visit. Thank you.

Went here for our anniversary meal last Friday. I have to say it was one of the nicest meals I've ever had, hubby had t-bone steak, he's quite fussy with his steak and said it was the nicest ever. The pate starter was beautiful too....we will definitely be back soon, thank you to Abby for looking after us. Xx

I came here a few months ago & liked it.. However today was a different story.. From forgotten veg on the plate to watery veg lasagne to over cooked pizza to the wrong coffee brought over.. It was a bit of a disaster! Some of the food was okay but nothing more.. Could be good but just didn't deliver :(

1st time visiting here, service was good and food was good only criticism the portion sizes are small for the price, I was still hungry which I don't expect when going for a meal. Loved the atmosphere and the lay out, I would return. Pls do bigger portions.

Went last night with 4 people to celebrate my birthday. We ordered food to share (pizzas, loaded nachos and meat platters) and it was all lovely. Well presented, tasty and left us all feeling full and content! The staff who served us were friendly, polite and attentive. Will definitely be visiting again to try something else off the menu.

Last night was mine and the husbands 3rd Date night at The Hyndburn. On all three occasions the food has been excellent. Steaks always cooked exactly how you asked to perfection. The meal portions arnt too large but satisfying so you can still enjoy a few drinks after with a cheeky desert. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, service was fast and always served with a smile.

for what you pay then I have to say the meal portions are on the small side ,ordered the mixed grill and to my mind it should have mushrooms ,a tomato and dare I say a fried egg with it also ordered a hot fudge cake with pouring cream and got told they only had squirty cream ,one of the few places I have actually left still feeling hungry

Our favourite place. The staff are very friendly and the food is always good. Love the rack of lamb and the burgers are great.

We visited The Hyndburn on 26/03/2017 for a mothers day meal...the food was good and the service was excellent and a very pleasant ambience...would recommend and we will visit again
